Auston's POV:
"How's Brynn?" Morgan asked as I threw on a shirt and got ready to leave practice.
I looked at him. "She's fine. Kinda had a bit of a scare but everything's fine."
Morgan nodded. "Auston, I don't think I ever apologized for the way I acted towards you and Brynn the first time. Well I know I apologized to Brynn, but I never apologized to you. I'm sorry. I tried to control your life when in all actuality you were happy this whole time. I just couldn't see that."
I smiled to myself. "Thank man! That means a lot to me."
Morgan smiled and walked out of the lockerroom as my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID and smiled to myself.
"Hello beautiful. How's my baby?" I asked.
She laughed. "I'm great, but I know you aren't talking about me so she's doing great as well."
I smiled. "That's my girl. I should be home soon. I'm actually just leaving practice now."
"That's great. Can you actually stop at the store? I'm craving pickles. And mustard." I laughed at what she said.
"Of course Brynn! I'll be home soon. I love you." I told her.
"I love you too Auston." She said softly.
I hung up and swung my bag over my shoulder as I walked out of the lockerroom. I headed towards the exit and was met by Mitch.
"What's up Matt's?" Mitch asked me.
I smiled at him. "Just headed to the store. Picking up some stuff for Brynn."
He nodded. "Yeah Steph will probably be there when you get home. She told me she was heading over there to hang out with her."
I laughed. "Those two are inseparable."
He laughed and nodded. "Do you mind if I follow you to the store then to your place. If I'm being totally honest, I kinda dropped her off there."
I laughed again. "Mitch, honestly what would I do without you bro."
