The boys continued to suck up to me so I could forgive them, as much as I wanted to keep acting mad it was dumb hard. So eventually I gave in and started laughing when Trey was cracking some jokes.
"I knew you couldn't stay mad at this fine piece of chocolate" Trey smirked.
"Boy.. fuck is you talkin' bout ? That ain't no where close to why I started talkin' to ya'" I sucked my teeth.
"Mhm yeah sure" Trey replied.
"So how was school? for the third time" Chris asked once again.
"Go 'head and ask me again nigga"
"Man just answer" Chris sucked his teeth, leaning back on the couch.
"It was aight. Some bum ass trick tried it though and there was this weirdo boy" I rolled my eyes thinking of the situations that occurred.
"Uh Uh boo, what bum ass trick tried you? Don't let me call our bih Licia on ha" August's dumbself asked in a ghetto girly voice.
I snorted. "You stupid.. but it was some trick who's boyfriend bumped into me and she tried to check me for it then Raina came in" I explained.
"Who's Raina?" Tory asked.
"Oh it's this girl who works with me in XXI" I responded then realized nobody knew I had a job besides Chris. "I have a job at Forever 21 and please don't come visit me"
"Damn a whole ass job and you been here three days" Tory retorted.
"Oh Raina, that jawn from yo work? the one who helped Nessa out when you was stuttering?" Dave questioned amusingly. "She go to yo school?"
"I oughta slap the shit out you" I threw the remote at him earning a laugh from him.
That surprised me cause he was usually quiet on his phone but now he was in our conversation.
"ANYWAY Raina came in and we went to gym together. The teacher was lowkey tryin' me too yo but I just brushed her ass off then I went to choir with the help of the boyfriend of that crazy jawn" I continued. "Choir was cool, I have to sing a solo in front of the class tomorrow and-"
"Hold up, you sing?" Chris was surprised.
"Yeah and I dance" I smiled. "We really are sibling" Chris agreed.
"Okay enough of that sappy Lifetime movie shit, continue back to your story" Trey interjected.
I rolled my eyes and ignored his comment. "After choir, Raina and I hit up the chick fil a joint across the street then we had grad rehearsal the rest of the day" I shrugged.
"I bet you missin' them bodegas back home" Dave said more a statement than a question.
"Yeah I really do man" I agreed.
"Dariah I almost forgot but Trey,Tory, Aug, and I gotta head out to Florida for a few days" Chris told me.
I scrunched my face up in confusion. "For what?"
