Cariah's POV:

"Come in" he said. I slowly walked in, my heeled shoes made a noise as I stepped on the floor.

"Wow. Your house is so big it's nice" I said.

"Thank you. Umm let's go to the living room" he said as he led me to a living room that had what looks like a bar and a mirrored wall. I sat on the couch and felt like I sat on something. I sightly got up and grabbed what I sat on.

"Um is this yours?" I asked as I handed him a phone.

"Oh yeah. Thanks" he took it and then looked at me.

"Oh my god. I just can't believe you're sitting right here. You're so grown up now" he said.

"I know. I'm 17. Almost 18"

"Wow. Last time I saw you I think you were about 5 months old"

"Yeah well time flies" I said.

"So wait. Why did you come find me? Not trying to be rude or anything I'm just curious" He asked.

"Well Crystal actually told me everything that happened. My dad had been lying to me my whole life. He told me my mom left him and wanted nothing to do with me, he never told me about you, and he changed my name and never told me about my birth name" I explained.

"What did he change your name to?"

"Cariah Danielle Fulton"

"Oh. Brooks was your moms last name so I figured you should get her last name when you were born"

"Yeah so when Crystal told me all this I just knew I had to find you" I said.

"I'm sorry but can I please give you a hug?" He said.

"Yes" he reached out and gave me a tight hug.

Colby's POV:

"Hey Colby do you- oh shittt sorry I'll come back later" someone said. I let go of her and a Sam was standing in the door way.

"Wait Sam this is Cariah. Jade's daughter" I said and Cariah and I both stood up.

"Wait what? Are you serious?" He said as he came closer to us.

"Yup"

"Oh my god you're a splitting image of your mom" Sam said as he covered his mouth.

"I've been told" Cariah said with a smile.

"Um I should probably introduce you to the rest of the roommates" I said.

"Sure" Cariah said.

"Aaron, Corey, Elton come down here" I yelled by the stairs.

"I'm Sam by the way. Colby and I have been best friends since our freshman year of high school" Sam said to Cariah.

"Well I'm Cariah and as I've been told, Colby has been by my side since I was born so I think I win" she said with a laugh. Oh my god it was like hearing Jade laugh.

"What's up" Corey said as him, Devyn, Aaron, Elton, and Katrina came downstairs.

"Umm guys this....is...Cariah Colbie Brooks. Or actually I'm sorry it's Cariah Danielle Fulton" I said correcting myself.

"It's fine I prefer Cariah Colbie Brooks. It gives me part of my mom" she said.

"Oh my god. You're Cariah? Yo I can't believe this" Corey said.

"Cariah this is Corey, his girlfriend Devyn, Aaron, Elton, and Sam's girlfriend Katrina" I said introducing everyone to her.

"Hello everyone" she said.

"Can you guys keep her occupied for a second while I got to the bathroom" I asked and everyone said yes.

"Wow so you're the famous Cariah?"

"Indeed I am" I heard as I walked into the bathroom. I shut the door and locked it before sitting on the floor. Oh my god she looks exactly like Jade.

Funny thing is....

I thought I believed in love at first sight....

But I REALLY didn't till I saw Cariah walk through that door.
