April's apartment was home to a girl around your age, who had been friends with the turtles for about the past year.

This was not of immediate importance to you. What was of immediate importance to you was that her house had a shower!!

After you took a shower, you and the turtles and April sat around and talked for a while. April had snacks set outs, so you didn't really mind.

"So [F/N]," April said brightly. "Where do you come from?"

You shifted a bit. "Oh — actually—"

"She doesn't know!" Mikey answered brightly. He tossed a piece of popcorn into the air and caught it with his mouth.

"Really?" April tilted her head.

You coughed. "Uh, yeah, I woke up here randomly, and—"

"She just happened to stumble upon our lair," Raph finished. He spread his hands. "What a coincidence."

April's eyebrows shot up. "Oh."

"Well, when you say it like that—" Donnie began.

"I think I'm actually going go wait outside," you interrupted. "Just like, a little outside of the window we came in from. Come out when you're done." You stood up and headed for the window.

"[F/N], wait," Leo called after you, but  you ignored him.

You sat outside the window and sighed, watching cars pass below you.

"What are you doing?" a gruff voice asked.

You flinched, tried not to shriek, and almost fell off.

Raph had maybe anticipated this (or his reflexes were just that fast) and shoved you back safely against the wall again.

"Waiting outside the window like this is dumb," he grumbled. "You could just wait inside the window in April's bedroom."

"I don't like waiting in a stranger's room," you said. "What are you doing here, anyway?"

Raph grunted. "His Majesty Leo wanted me to make sure nothing nasty comes to snatch you away...or make sure that you don't fall to your death," he added with a smirk.

You bristled. "I wouldn't have fallen if you didn't sneak up on me like that!"

"Whatever," he shrugged, leaning against the wall and folding his arms. "Just be glad I caught you."

"Did he really just send you out here so you could annoy me?" you asked, reluctant to believe that Leo would inflict something so horrible upon you.

"Well, there is something else he wanted me to do," Raph mumbled, looking away and scratching his neck a little.

"Really? What?"

He sighed. "He wanted me to apologize to you."

"...well, are you going to?"

He seemed irritated. "Am I going to what?"

"Are you going to apologize?"

"Apologize for what?" he snapped.

"Apologize for being a huge jerk!" you snapped back.

For a moment, the fire remained in his eyes and his tense posture and his opening mouth, but then it drained from him. He sighed. Looked away again.

"I'm sorry," he grunted.

"For...?" you prompted, not satisfied.

"For being a jerk," he finished quietly. Then he smirked and bowed mockingly to you. "Hope you're satisfied, Princess Sensitivity."

"Oh, stop," you said, smacking him. He straightened, grinning.

At least he apologized.

"Are you guys—" Leo poked his head out of the window. "We're leaving now."

"Mmkay," you hummed. "But wait for me on the rooftops, alright? There's something I gotta do downtown."
