A/N: Please go back and read the last chapter if Raph knocked you out last time. I changed it.

You knocked on the door. Leo and Donnie stood on either side, like guards. (Leo had convinced Mikey to stay behind by having him play video games.) If Raph opened the door, all he'd see was you.

"Go away, Leo," Raph's muffled voice came from behind the door.

You were about to tell him that you weren't Leo, but changed your mind. "Raph, stop asking like a spoiled kid throwing a temper tantrum and come out!" you snapped in your best imitation of Leo's voice.

Donnie suppressed a chuckle. Leo looked annoyed.

The door opened. "Leo—" He stopped, upon realizing that you weren't Leo.

Raph stared at you for a moment. "Whaddya want?" The words didn't have as much fire to them as you'd expected them to. He sounded sullen.

"I just wanna talk — c'mon, dude, let me in."

He looked at you, considered for a moment, and stood aside.

You limped past him, and he closed the door.

"What is it?" he asked, attempting to be grumpy.

"I just told you what I wanted, which is to talk."

"What do you want to talk about?" Raph grumbled, not meeting your eyes. "Make it quick."

"I just..." Raph had turned away from you and moved to the other side of the room, doing something with his hands that you couldn't see.

Feeling slightly better now that he had stopped facing you, you asked, "Why do you hate me so much?"

He froze. "...what?"

"I mean...even if you don't like me, you don't have to freakin' twist my ankle to get your point across!" You hadn't realized you were angry until that moment.

"I wasn't — I didn't mean —" Raph's back was still turned away.

"Then what did you mean, Raph? What were you trying to do—?!"

"I WASN'T TRYING TO DO ANYTHING!" he roared, spinning around.

The both of you stared at each other.

"Glad we could talk," you managed after a moment, turning to go.

"[F/N], no no no, wait — "

"I don't know what your problem with me is, but you know what? You don't care, so neither do I—"

A light weight was placed on your shoulder. You tensed as something nuzzled your cheek. It made a tiny noise.

"What the—"

You turned your head. A small purple creature was on your shoulder. It seemed to be pleading with you with its eyes.

"...huh?"

"His name's Chompy," Raph offered after a moment, voice rough. "Chompy Picasso."

Chompy made another sad noise.

"He said he, uh...wants you to stay," Raph translated, mumbling a little.

You didn't move.

"I don't..." Raph faltered. "I...I'm sorry."

You didn't leave, and turned slightly towards him, raising your eyebrows.

"I..." Raph shifted awkwardly on his bed, clearly uncomfortable with what he was about to say.  "Sometimes, when I start fighting, I...I don't think. All I think about is the fight, and how I'm going to win. It was a mistake. I don't hate you. I didn't mean to hurt you that badly, and I'm sorry."

He paused, peering up at you for a reaction, then added quietly, "I was a jerk."

Chompy Picasso nuzzled you one last time, then scrambled down you and over to Raph. Raph picked up the small creature and petted him, avoiding your gaze.

You found your voice. "Yes, you were. And you still are, you jerk."

His eyes cast downwards, ashamed. He looked like he was about to cry.

"But it's okay," you added. "Mostly, I guess. Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone's a jerk once in a while."

Raph lifted his head a little, eyes widening with what looked like...disbelief?

"You...forgive me?" he asked.

You shrugged. "Only if you agree to be friends."

"What?!"

"Just to make sure that this doesn't happen again," you explained casually. "Or that if it does, you feel extra guilty. Also, now that we've established that you don't hate me...I mean, why not?"

Raph considered this, rolling his eyes slightly in an attempt to show irritation at the idea, but clearly relieved that you didn't hate him.

"Ah, why the shell not," he agreed grudgingly. "If it makes you feel better, Little Miss Sensitive."

You held out your hand, ignoring his jab at your being sensitive, and he shook it.

"So we're all good?" he questioned. A little bit of doubt flickered across his green eyes.

"We're all good," you confirmed, heading for the door. "After all, we're friends, right?"

He rolled his eyes, letting out a small snicker. "Sure, sure. Whatever makes you happy, [F/N]!"

"I am happy, Raph," you called over your shoulder, turning the knob. "You know why?"

You began to slide out the door. "Because I'm meaner to my friends than anyone else!"
