"It's not possible. He said his house was right here!" cried Indiana. They had reached Malibu, the same place she had dreamed Tony Stark had said his house was.

Indiana looked at the picture she drew after dreaming about her father's house:

The cliff was there, only the house had disappeared. There was no sign that a house had existed there. Peter pulled Indiana into a tight hug as tears slipped down. "It's okay."

After five minutes of Peter comforting her, she pulled back and smiled at him. She took a deep breath before speaking. "I'm hungry."

The two went to the nearest McDonald's and bought a take away. They went back to the cliff where the house was suppose to be. They sat on the edge and ate their food.

"Peter," said Indiana. Peter looked at her while giving a small hum. "I haven't told anyone this."

Indiana hesitated before continuing. "Before I woke up in your street, after my eyes closed in front of my dad, I'd woken up somewhere else." There was a small paused until she continued, "Everywhere was black, but there was still some light. As if I was in an empty place with nothing. I tried to find the light source and reached some sort of door. the door was grey, it had a nob. There was a rectangular window on it, and that was the light source. I couldn't see the other side because of the brightness. I opened the door and again, woke up, but on the streets in that rainy day."

Peter looked at Indiana with concern. "Why didn't you tell me this sooner?"

"I don't know. I guess I didn't understand what it meant," said Indiana.

"Do you know now?" asked Peter.

"No," said Indiana, gazing at the beautiful sea in front of her.

It has been three months since Peter and Indiana's visit to Malibu. Since they found nothing, they returned home. Indiana was at her work at the local restaurant. Peter walked upstairs to the kitchen to see Miya playing with her dolls whilst Wanda read her book. His mother was watching the news whilst drinking a glass of wine.

"Isn't Indiana back yet?" asked Peter.

"No. She should be in about ten minutes or less," said Wanda, not taking her eyes off her book.

Peter nodded and headed towards the kitchen and opened the fridge. He took out the orange juice and poured it in a cup and drank it. He sat in the kitchen for five minutes.

Suddenly he heard a scream from outside and a car driving fast away. The scream was familiar. Very familiar.

He ran outside the house, seeing from his right a car driving away. He turned to his left, seeing a body lying down in the side of the road. He had a hunch who that was, but he hoped dearly that wasn't who he thought it was.

He sped toward the body and pulled it to face him. The shock caused tears form in his eyes.

"Indiana," he murmured, shaking the body. "Indiana wake up, wake up!" he said a bit louder. By that time, his mother came by. She looked at the body and gasped.

Peter checked Indiana's pulse, he felt it beat two times, too far from each other. After those two it stopped.

"No, no, no!" gasped Peter.

Strangely, the body in Peter's arm started fading, until it was like she was never there. Her body had disappeared.

Peter noticed something left from Indiana, a photo. He took it and realized it was one of the pictures they took three years ago before going to prom. He held the photo to his chest while sobbing.

His first love. Dead.

Indiana woke up in a dark and empty room. She remembered the place very well. It was the place she had been to that night she met Peter.

She saw a small light in the distance. She knew what she had to do, but an urge to go back to Peter made her stop herself from going there. She hadn't had any idea where that door would lead her. Maybe somewhere else. Somewhere scary, or strange.

She stood up and looked around the dark room. She tried running. Key word: tried. No matter how much she ran she couldn't move away from the door.

Out of nowhere, her breath started getting heavier. Wherever she was, the air there was running out. Like any human would do, she ran towards the door before all the oxygen was gone. Just in time.

Indiana opened her eyes with a gasp. She looked around where she was. It was what looked like an apartment. The glass window showed the beautiful sky, as if it was a house in the clouds. The strong wind from outside made a buzzing sound in the height of the building.

The room looked like a living room. Indiana had woken up on the floor by the coffee table. The four sets of couches were light grey, set around a black coffee table. Two smaller glass coffee tables were set between three of the couches. To Indiana's right there was a two step set of stairs leading to a bar and a dining room. To her right there was a glass balustrade behind one of the couch. She saw there was a stairway leading down to the right side from the front of her.

Indiana stood up straight and went towards the stairs. She went down the stairs, that leaded to a kitchen and what looked like a gym. She walked towards the kitchen. Whilst she walked around the beautiful place, she accidentally hit her head to one of the open cabinets. After that she heard a voice of a man.

"Bruce, is that you?" said the voice. Indiana panicked before opening a drawer and taking out a butter knife. It was simple, but it could be very helpful. She heard footsteps coming downstairs before she was face-to-face with the voice source.

It took Indiana a few seconds, but she murmured the voices out of her mouth on her shocked face. "...Dad?"
