The Confession

Jughead paced around his living room. When he heard his dad's car pull up, he quickly grabbed his recorder from his backpack. He slipped it into the inside pocket in his jacket and turned it on. FP opened up the trailer door.
"Evening, Jug. How was school?" He laid down on the couch.
"Fine." Jughead's thoughts were flying all around. "Except I heard something troubling from Toni." FP sat up.
"What?" He asked. Jughead looked straight into his father's eyes.
"She said you drove Jason to suicide."
FP closed his eyes.
"I was protecting you." He whispered. Almost like he was lying to himself.
"You're disgusting." Jughead  walked away from his dad.
"Listen here boy! I was saving the serpents from a bigger enemy." FP followed him.
"How could you do it?" Jughead could feel his eyes start to water. "Even after what happened to mom?!" Jughead yelled. FP went silent.
"Why do you even care about that north side prince?" FP asked. He grabbed a beer from the fridge. Jughead could feel his rage start to simmer.
"You ruined so many people's lives! But I guess you can never save anyone. You let them all die!" Jughead screamed. FP grabbed Jughead jacket and threw him against the door.
"You shut the hell up, boy!" Jughead fell to the ground. "Now answer me, Why do you care?" Jughead knew what his father wanted the answer to be. He wanted Jughead to say, I don't.
"Because you ruined my boyfriend's life." Jughead spit on FP.
"I knew you were a bigger sinner than me." FP gave a low laugh.
"Get out!" Jughead yelled.
"Oh no, boy. You get out before I hurt you more than Jason." Jughead grabbed his backpack and ran out. He couldn't go to Archie's, not with his parents. Toni was couch surfing and he didn't know where. Jughead ended up knocking on Betty's door. He had been walking for miles and he could start to hear thunder in the distance. Polly answered the door.
"My dad kicked me out. I just need one night." He told her.
"Of course." Polly brought him to the guest room. "Betty's not home by the way. She said something about a date." Jughead was surprised that he didn't feel any jealousy.
"Good for her." Polly left the room and Jughead threw himself on the bed. He was asleep in seconds.

"Get your sister up!" Penelope yelled from the dining room. Archie spit out his toothpaste and ran into Cheryl's room. He opened the door to find two naked girls in the bed. He threw is hands over his eyes.
"Archie!" Cheryl yelled. Toni grabbed the covers.
"You guys are so stupid." Archie picked up  Toni's clothes and Cheryl's robe from the floor and handed it to them.
"Mommy and daddy won't see her." Cheryl promised. Archie turned to leave.
"You should invite Jughead to live here." Toni called after him.
"What?" Archie was confused. How did everyone already know about them?
"Betty called to tell me, he's crashing at her house." Toni explained. Archie called Jughead.
"What happened?" He asked. He heard Jughead sigh on the other end.
"My dad kicked me out for dating you. But I got his confession." Jughead answered. Archie knocked on Cheryl's door.
"You dressed?" He asked.
Cheryl and Toni opened the door.
"Good, we're meeting Jug at the Sheriff's office."
