Chapter 12. The Raft

Micheal, Saywer, and Walt have been building this raft to get off the island so they can go get us help, but I have no life off this island. I'm not sure if I really want to get off.

As I'm sitting reading a book I smell something funny, smoke?

Fire.

I get up and look around and the raft is on fire. Micheal has already noticed and is not happy.

Hes yelling and screaming wondering who did this. He sees Jin, who only speaks Korean, people think his wife Sun doesn't either but anytime we talk she looks over, she seems to know what we are saying.

Micheal does not like Jin very much so when he see the burn on Jims arm hes starts accusing him of burning down the raft.

Micheal is yelling at him which obviously Jin doesn't understand then Sun does something nobody expected.

"He didn't do it" She says in English shocking everybody

"He has a burn because he was trying to put out the fire not start it"

Micheal looks guilty for accusing Jin and by the look on Jins face he had no clue his wife spoke English.

Everybody calms down and Michael goes back to rebuilding the raft.

Sawyer is supposed to help but hes just sitting there next to the raft.

"Sawyer I thought the deal was you help build the raft and you get one free ticket off the island" I tell him

"I know but my head is killin me"

"Then you should go see Jack"

"No"

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want too"

"Fine"

I walk away if he won't see Jack I'll bring Jack to him.

"Hey Jack"

"Hey Hayley"

"So um, you see Sawyer has been complaining about this headache and hes to stubborn to actually come and see you so I was wondering, as a favor to me, if I'll could take you to him to see whats wrong"

Jack reluctantly agrees and I take him to Sawyer.

Jack says that Sawyer need glasses, that's why he gets headaches especially while reading.

Jack, Kate, and I find this hilarious, Sawyer does not.

I see Sayid making the glasses and I go over there.

"Hey Sayid, making Sawyers glasses?"

"Yep, I got the two worst ones possible just for a little laugh" he says while chuckling

"I have to be there when you give it to him"

"Alright I'm almost done here so it shouldn't be much longer"

Sayid finishes the glasses and we walk over to Sawyer

"We ain't this a party" he says looking up from his book they he can barley read.

Jack hand him the glass, its very hard not to laugh when he put then on. Jack writes "better or worse?" on a piece of paper and holds it up for Sawyer to see.

"Really doc?"

He all laugh

"Great now you can finally stop complaining about your headache" I say
