Chapter 8. Getting Caught

I'm standing in the kitchen talking to Juliet when Sawyer and Phil the guy who works security comes inside. To mine and Juliet's surprise, Sawyer punches Phil in the face knocking him out.

He looks over at us and says, "Get some rope."

Its morning now and Phil is now tied up and is in the closet. All of us are in our living room. I'm sitting next to Juliet on the couch.

Sawyer sits now and says, "All right people... the party's over. I know y'all just showed up." he looks over at Juliet and I, "but the rest of us have been here for the past three years. This is our home. The last thing I wanna do is leave. But we ain't got no choice."

Hurley says, "That dude in the closet, I thought he worked for you, can't you convince him that it was all like a misunderstanding?"

"I punched the man in the damn face Hugo. What am I supposed to say? "My fist slipped?"

Kate asks, "How much time do we have before someone realizes he's gone?"

"Not enough," Sawyer says

I ask, "So where do we go?"

"We only got two options. We can either commandeer the sub,  get the hell off this island before anyone knows we're gone, or we can head back in the jungle, start from square one."

Jin says, "I'm not getting on the sub if there's a chance my wife is still on this island."

Hurley says, "Yeah, me neither, after all, we did to get back here, now we're just gonna run off again? Seems kinda wishy-washy."

"Right. That's two votes for square one. Anybody else...?" Sawyer says

There's a knock at the door and we all freeze for a moment.

Sawyer walks over to grab his gun, "Hold your horses. Br right there."

Sawyer opens the door and it's Faraday and Miles.

"Hey, James," Daniel says

"Welcome to the meeting, Twitchy. " Daniel and Miles walk in, "Good to see you again. Pound cake in the kitchen. Help yourself the punch."

Daniel asks where he can find the hostiles.

"Why do you need to know?" I ask

"Because one of them is my mother. And she is the only person on this island who can get us back to where we belong."

"Your mother is an Other?" I say

"You met her when the island was skipping, back in 1954, they were calling her Ellie."

Hurley says, "You guys were in 1954? Like...Fonzie times?"

Juliet says, "You still haven't told us why you need to find her?"

"I just need to talk to her."

Sawyer tells Faraday he can't go find his mom but Kate knows where the others are. Juliet tells Kate, Jack, and Faraday that they should go and Sawyer is not happy about it.

Alarms start going off and people come bursting through our door.

"LaFleur where have you been?"

"Woah, take it easy, Stu. What the hell's going on?" Sawyer says 

"I just got shot by a physicist and the new recruits are helping him. We've been infiltrated."

"That's ridiculous. Now just calm down and we can talk about this."

We hear rustling coming from the closet.

Phil.

"What was that?"

"Sounded like it was from outside," Sawyer says

We hear it again.

He opens the closet door and in there is a tied up Phil.

They point their guns at us.

"Get down on the ground, now...I said now!"

We get on our knees with our hands up.

They have us tied to chairs and Stu keeps punching Sawyer in the face.

"Hey!" Juliet says.

"You ready to talk now?" Stu says to Sawyer.

"Nope."

He punches Sawyer in the face again.

"I'm getting tired of this to Jim. So why don't you tell me where your girlfriend took the boy. She bring him to the Hostiles? You know where they are?"

Sawyer doesn't reply and he punches Sawyer again knocking his chair over. I stay silent and look away for a second.

Juliet yells, "Stop! Stop! Please!"

"You want me to stop? Then tell me what I want to know!"

"Stuart, please. We have known each other for three years. We're not bad people. We're not here to hurt you."

"Juliet...don't," Sawyer says lying on the floor with blood all over his face. "Whatever you tell 'em they ain't gonna believe you. It's only gonna get more people hurt."

Stuart looks at me and says, "Come on kid, talk."

I just stare at him giving him the silent treatment. 

Horace and Phil pick up Sawyer from the floor.

Horace says, "What are we doing man? Beating him is pointless. Okay? He's not gonna talk."

Phil says, "I can make him talk."

Phil has taken all of us my surprise punches Juliet in the face.

"You son of a bitch!" Sawyer yells.

"You'll pay for that" I mumble
