Chapter 15

You wake up to the sound of your alarm. Yawning, you sit up from the bed and rub your eyes.

You go to change out of your pajamas, only to realize you never changed out of your uniform last night...

You sigh and go towards the refrigerator looking for breakfast. You then remembered the microwavable breakfasts you bought yesterday.

You put the frozen breakfast in the microwave and grab a juice box while you wait. The microwave dings and you quickly eat.

You're about to walk out the door when you remember your cell phone. You run back to your room, unplug it, and leave the apartment with your cell phone in hand.

There was still about ten minutes before the day started, so you turn it on and look through your long lost cell phone.

"Huh...?" You look and notice you only have a few contacts in your phone. You couldn't remember who's numbers you had before, but you thought you had more than four.

You noticed a contact labeled 'Shiki'. He must have put his number in when he found it. You didn't even know he had a cell phone.

"Hey~!" You can hear Ritsuka call your name in the distance as she runs to your side.

"Good morning Ritsuka! Look what I found!" You smile, showing off your recently found cell phone.

She gasps with a smile. "That's so awesome, (Y/n)! Now I can text you again!"

You nod your head and put the phone in your pocket.

"Where'd you find it?" She asks.

"Well, Sh- I mean my friend found it for me..." You realized that you've never told her about Shiki, and weren't sure if this was the right time to bring it up.

Ritsuka giggles. "I didn't realize you had any other friends besides me and Azuna. That's awesome though, I hope you said thank you to them."

"Of course I did, I thanked him several times." You smile, not noticing her grin.

"So it's a boy?"

You nod your head in embarrassment with a light smile. You then hear a girl calling Ritsuka's name. Turning around, you can see Azuna catching up to you and Ritsuka.

"Good morning, and hey (Y/n)!" Azuna smiles, now walking beside you..

Ritsuka looks over at you and smiles. "We'll talk about that later, okay?" You nod your head.

"Oh right, is your head doing any better?" Azuna asks. "I can't believe what happened yesterday."

Ritsuka agrees with her and looks at you. "I think I saw who had hit you, (Y/n)."

"Who do you think it was?" You ask. You weren't going to be angry, and you assumed that it was a mistake.

"I don't know his name, but he had dark purple hair. I made eye contact with him and he walked away without a care in the world.." Ritsuka says while looking down.

Purple hair?

"Do you have any idea who it was? If so, let me know so I can give him a piece of my mind!" Azuna gives you a pat on the back. "I won't let this guy get away with hurting you!!"

You thank her but then wonder to yourself.

They aren't talking about Shiki, are they...? He's the only boy you've seen with dark purple hair, let alone the only boy you knew...

"(Y/n), we'd better hurry up before we're late!" Ritsuka calls, regaining your attention.

You nod your head before running off with the girls. You decide not to worry about the incident and just focus on making it through the school day.
