“Aren't you too old to go trick or treating?” Your guardian asked, finishing the last button on your costume.

“You're never too old to go, Guardian!! Besides. I'm only (y/a)!!!” You said in defense as they sighed.

“And you're going by yourself?” They asked raising an eyebrow.

“No, I already told you I was going with my boyfriend…” You said in annoyance.

You've already discussed this with them, but they kept giving you a hard time.

Then the doorbell rang.

“One second-” You called before getting cut off by numerous ringing sounds.

Your guardian let go of your costume as you opened the door, only to be met with your purple haired mummy.

“Happy Halloween, my dear (Y/n)~” He cooed at the door, nonchalantly walking into the apartment.

He wasn't too much of a mummy, he was just in his school uniform with paper wrapped around his body.

“Oh right, I forgot you're taking… Shiki with you…”

For some reason, your guardian never really liked Shiki, but it didn't matter whether they did or not since in the end, Shiki is your boyfriend.

“Oooo, very nice, (Y/n)~” Shiki whistled, walking in a circle around you and looking at your costume from all angles.

You felt slightly embarrassed as your guardian sighed.

“I guess I'll be going now, have fun.” They stated, putting on their shoes and walking towards the door.

"And (Y/n).” They said sternly. “If he makes you do something you don't want to do, you push him away and scream ‘rape’ as loud as you can. Do you understand.” It was more of a statement rather than a question.

You could feel Shiki glaring at your Guardian as they walked away, shutting the door behind them.

“Sorry about that Shiki…” You apologized.

“Don't worry about it, after all, I'd be stressed too. Leaving my daughter in the hands of some despicable fallen angel-”

You cut him off.

“Oh stop it, you aren't despicable!!” You defended him but he only chuckled.

He walked over towards the counter, picking up the bowl of candy and gazing into it.

Several brands of chocolate bars filled the brim of the bowl as Shiki grabbed one.

You were going to scold him, but you kind of wanted one too…

The two of you made eye contact before he threw to you a small bar of chocolate.

“Thanks!” You smiled happily, taking a bite and quickly finishing the bar.

Shiki approached you with the bowl in his hand, but for a moment, he stared at your face.

“How did you manage to get chocolate on your face?” He asked, putting down the bowl and licking your cheek.

Your face instantly flushed red as Shiki chuckled.

“You're so adorable~”

“A-A-Anyways, we should hurry up outside, the kids will be going around soon.” You said, trying to change the subject and looking out the window.
