Chapter 18

You sat there dumbfounded at his sudden actions and now his dissapearance.

You head over towards the sink, lightly picking up the broken glass and placing them into the trash can.

Then a rush of dizziness overcomes you and you feel lightheaded.

Maybe you were tired...

But you just woke up 20 minutes ago.

Why were you so tired?

Also, what day was it?

You didn't have a calender, it was kept on your cellphone. So now with that gone, you were now unsure.

Your head starts spinning and you rush back to your bed, falling face first and groaning in pain.

You didn't know why, but you felt terrible.

And tired as well...

It seems like your only option was to lay back down...

You stare at the ceiling until your vision grows dark, and you fall back asleep.

...

You wake up, only to feel even worse. Looking out the window, you could only assume it was mid-afternoon.

Did you have school today?

You glance towards the wall, and your uniform is gone...

"Maybe it just fell off the hanger..." You say to yourself, struggling out of bed and fighting fatigue.

You search your bedroom but after a few minutes are met with no results.

You sigh to yourself, deciding not to worry about it.

You head towards the kitchen in search of something to eat.

To your surprise, the house was empty and you felt a bit of disappointment.

You ate your microwaved meal and sat on the couch, scanning through the T.V channels until settling on a movie you haven't watched in awhile.

After an hour or so, you look back out the window and notice it isn't too late. You grab a light jacket and shut the door behind you.

It was mid-autumn and slightly chilly outside.

Walking towards the school, you take a moment to reconsider... You didn't have your uniform on and were fully aware that you could get in trouble, but you at least needed to make up what you missed.

You weren't sure how long you were out of school, but figured it was more than two days.

As you approach the building, you watch as the ending bell rings and students begin to flow out of the building.

You wait off to the side and then notice Ritsuka and Azuna smiling from afar. You call out to them but they didn't notice your calls.

Quickly, you make your way through the wave of students, desperately trying to gain Ritsuka's attention.

You stumble on your feet, calling her name out again and again. After another calling, the two of you make eye contact and her smile disappears. She quickly lowers her head and walks away.

What...?

You were dumbfounded and got pushed by the crowd of students. You ended up falling to the ground.

Ritsuka had defiantly seen you, but why didn't she say anything? Why did her smile disappear after seeing you??  

You sat there on the ground, still trying to understand.
