The transition from him using your last name to first was slightly shocking.
But not as shocking as what he just told you.
"I'm already dating Shiki!!" You protested.
"Are you sure about that?" He smirked.
"What do you mean...?"
He chuckled before looking back at you.
"Is your relationship with Shiki even considered 'dating' anymore?"
You didn't understand what he meant.
"After everything he's done to you, yet you still stay by his side?"

"Not that your loyalty is bad, in fact, it's as good as a dog's."

"Did you just compare me to a dog!!??" You asked in defense.
He chuckled at your words.
"I meant that as a compliment, Ms. (Y/n)."
How is calling someone a dog a compliment...?
"Using that same analogy, your tail is still wagging for an abusive master. Your loyalty is only making things worse on you."

"Oh? You seem quite troubled. Beginning to doubt your loyalty now?" He chuckled as you tried to compose yourself.
"I don't care what you say, I will stay by Shiki's side!!"
*Shiki's P.O.V*
I told (Y/n) that I was going to the third library, and at first I was.
I walked all the down the hallway, stopped for a moment, and then walked all the way back.
I didn't have to put my ear to the door to hear what they were discussing.
"Not that your loyalty is bad, in fact it's as good as a dog's."
I held back from laughing.
It was ironic how Roen compared her to a dog even though he was one himself.
"Did you just compare me to a dog!!??" (Y/n) hollared back.
I'm glad she's able to fight back now, good for her.
"I meant that as a compliment, Ms. (Y/n)."
It doesn't matter if it's Roen saying it or not, but calling someone a dog isn't anywhere close to a compliment.
