*Your P.O.V*

Like most days, you woke up to birds chirping. Somehow, you were in your room. You couldn't remember going back to your bedroom last night; maybe Shiki carried you to bed.

Today was Saturday, and there wasn't too much to do. When you walked out into the living room, you were met with Shiki still asleep on the couch.

You giggled to yourself; he's so peaceful and cute when he's asleep. Mainly because he isn't making comments every second of the day.

You made your way towards the kitchen and tried to make breakfast. There wasn't a lot to make, and you were running low on food again...

Going back to the shopping center would be a pain, but if it's necessary, then you didn't have much of a choice.

Besides, as long as you didn't act childish like you did last time, then Shiki should have no reasons to do what he did last time.

Your cheeks felt warm remembering what he did to you in public...disregarding the thought, you quickly made eggs and toast before lightly waking him up.

"Shikiiiiiiiiiii..."

He didn't respond as you held out the last syllable of his name. You said his name again as he began to wake up.

"I made breakfast, so come out whenever you're ready..." You smiled as he rubbed his eyes.

You went to your room and grabbed your cell phone, playing games on your favorite app while you waited for him to join you at the table.

His food was getting cold when he finally came and sat down. He thanked you and ate in silence.

"Everything okay...?" You asked as he nodded his head.

"Yeah, just tired." He chuckled lightly. After he finished eating he threw himself onto the couch again.

"Hey, guess what?"

He gave you a confused look.

"We're running low on food, I think we have to go to the store today..."

Shiki didn't say anything for a moment before responding.

"If you write me a list, I can go pick everything up real quick." He said nonchalantly.

"I can go with you-"

"Nah, just let me do it so I can be fast." He stood up from the couch and stretched.

Okay...? Why didn't he want you to go with him?

You did as he said and obediently wrote a list in a minute or two.

"Just stay here. You've got your phone, so call me if anything happens." He said as you nodded your head. And before you knew it, he was out the door.

Looking around, you realized the apartment was getting kind of messy, so you turned on music and began to clean.

You couldn't remember the last time you took the vacuum cleaner out of the closet, and you cleaned as much as you could. Taking a wet washcloth, you cleaned the counters and tables, as well as washing all the dishes that were in the sink.

It maybe took you half an hour or so when you finished, and you were surprised Shiki wasn't back yet.

You opened the window and peeked your head out, only to be met with a harsh February breeze. The apartment was feeling sort of musty though and you left the window open to freshen up the room.

You then laid down on the couch playing with games on your cell phone. It felt nice to have some alone time, and it reminded you from what seemed like years when you used to live here alone.
