Mild cursing heh

It has been almost four months since the "wax incident", and life seemed to only get worse...

He had no trust in you, and didn't treat you as kindly as you should to any human being.

Today however, Shiki went out of the apartment for the day.

And you would have planned an escape route if not for the handcuffs keeping you stuck in place.

You would sit there by yourself for hours, bored and hopeless until Shiki would return home.

Sometimes a few hours would go buy, but there were times where he wouldn't come back until the next day.

You could only imagine what he was doing outside; it was early spring now and he was probably enjoying the fresh air...

You've haven't been outside, let alone allowed to be anywhere near the door.

You already understood his point and told him you wouldn't do anything, but both you and him knew it was a lie.

You then heard the door open...

It was obvious Shiki was home, but you heard another set of footsteps.

Who else could it be?

"See, what did I tell you? There's no one else here, so you can leave now." You heard Shiki's voice, obviously annoyed, at the person he was talking to.

Your door was shut and locked from the outside, so you had no way of telling who the nearby stranger was.

"Then why isn't she at school anymore?"

You recognized the strangers voice but couldn't recall it's owner.

"Beats me, but why were you so quick to assume that I was behind all of this?" Shiki's voice raised in slight anger.

"We already asked the grimoire but she led us here. So, I'll ask again; Where is (Y/n)."

Why were they talking about you?

"I already told you, she isn't here. Now go bother someone else, Urie."

That's where you recognized his voice, it was Urie Sogami.

He had warned you before about Shiki, and you wished you believed him at the time.

You wondered where you would be now if you weren't bound by Shiki's chains and shackles.

But why was Shiki hiding the fact that you were here? Afterall, this is your apartment...

"It isn't normal for any student to miss almost a year of schooling, and it's obvious that you hid her somewhere." Urie said, also angered.

"I will only ask you one more time. Where is the girl." His voice was stern and was more of a threat than a question.

"It is none of your business."

"I get it that you love her, but this has turned into an obsession, Shiki." You agreed with Urie's statement.

"Who said I loved her?"

"..."

"Wait, what are you talking about? You're acting out like this because you love her, right?"

"I've never loved her to begin with. She's just a toy in the end of it."

"..."

Your heart shattered into pieces.

Is that why he was treating you like this??
