~I'm sick and tired of your attitude. I'm feeling like I don't know you~
Tell me why - Taylor Swift

~3rd Person POV~

"Do you think I killed him?" Nate whispers. "I hope I didn't kill him. He's gotta be in his late 70s at least! Maybe he couldn't take the hit. Oh, my God, I just killed a member of the Justice Society."

"Why are you whispering?" Amaya turns away from Obsidian to look at Nathan.

"In case he's not dead, he could probably use the nap," he shrugs.

"I'm not an invalid..." Todd groans as he pushes himself upright. "Just old," he looks up at Amaya. "And you, you haven't aged a day."

"It's one of the few benefits of time travel," Amaya smiles.

"So you left us to join the loveable losers," he chuckles.

"I was trying to find Rex's killer," Maya explains.

"And you never thought to tell me?"

"I found Rex dying. His last words were 'time traveler'. I didn't think. I just acted," Amaya tells him what had happened. "What happened to them, Todd?"

"After the war," he starts. "Our friendship with the Soviet Union ended, and we continued fighting as what was known as the 'Iron Curtain' descended over central and eastern Europe."

"Does 'we' include my grandfather?" Nate asks.

"Right to the end. In 1956, President Eisenhower sent a team on a mission to Leipzig. They never made it back," Todd finishes.

"Why didn't you go?" Nathan asks.

"'56 was a charged time. They were concerned that I couldn't be trusted," Obsidian explains.

"Why not?" Nate presses.

"Leave it be, Nathaniel," Amaya tries not to make Todd relive the memories.

"Nate, Amaya, report back to the Waverider," Sara's voice rings out over the comms.

"I promise you, Todd, I will fix this," Amaya takes his hand in hers.

"What's done is done, Amaya," he tries to tell her that everything is fine.

"Not when you have a time machine," she stands, ready to leave with Nathan. "I'm sorry for leaving, Todd. I truly am."

"Jess," Nathan calls her over. "Get dressed, were going back to the ship." She growls before shifting and doing as told.

"Rex's killer is here?" Amaya asks. "In 1987?"

"Potentially, if Damien Darhk is still working with him," Stein explains.
