~3rd Person POV~
"No!" She panics. Nathan now knows she isn't just a dinosaur, but some sort of human freak.
"Ashley is that you?" He grabs her shoulders to hold her still.
"No tell," she pleads
"You don't know how to talk, do you?" Jessica only shakes her head. "Okay, that's fine. Let's just get you some clothes an—."
"No."
"What?" Nathan raises his eyebrows. "You have to wear clothes otherwise people will think you're weird."
"No," Nate groans with annoyance.
"Then what am I supposed to do with you? I can't walk around with you naked!" He gripes. Jessica suddenly emits a blinding light and in the place of the woman Nathan was talking to, a familiar utahraptor stands. Nate stares for a moment; he can't believe what he's seeing.
Suddenly, Nathan's eyes gloss over as he stumbles and falls backwards into the crater he created when he hit the surface. Jessica slides down the side to the bottom next to Nate only to find that he's unconscious. Jessica doesn't know her surroundings, nor does she know what time period they're in so she decides her best bet is to stay with Nathan until he wakes up.
She lays down in the dirt next to him for a while until the sound of hooves and a creaky old cart wakes her from the nap she so desperately needed after the stressful events from before. A woman peeks down into the crater only to find an angry beast defending her incapacitated friend.
The woman jumps back only to have the scaled beast jump out after her. Jessica looks back down into the crater, where Nathan lay unconscious, then back up to the only person she can see in the area. Jessica steps aside and backs away to allow this woman to help her friend out of this sticky situation.
The woman cautiously leaves her horse and wagon to go down into the crater to see what she can do for Nathan. Jessica peeks in from above to see the woman struggling to pull Nathan out of the hole. Jess slides back down into the hole causing the woman to drop everything she's trying to do and back away.
Jessica chirps at her and cocks her head to the side before bending down and trying to push Nate from the crater. It takes a few seconds for Jessica to get Nathan out, but she's eventually successful. The woman crawls out of the hole and stares at the raptor from a distance before hauling Nathan onto the cart her horse pulls.
Jessica follows from far behind as the woman leads her horse down a dirt road and back into an area where there are more and more people coming into sight. The beast looks around and watches as the humans pick their crops and place them into cloth bags which were then thrown onto their own horse-drawn carts.
