~3rd Person POV~
Ray sits on Jessica's back with his sword drawn as they stand next to Guinevere on her white horse. They all face Rip and Darhk's evil forces.
"I'm afraid you'll not find any... fairy buttons, around here," Rip yells out, trying to control Jessica once again. He waits a moment to see if it worked. "I see you've figured me out. Good thing I brought backup."
A strong looking, unclothed man steps up beside Rip. He, like Jessica, has a stripe on each side of his body. His, however, are golden. Realization hits Jessica like a truck when the man's body begins to break and reform. His tan skin turning midnight black, but his gold stripes remain in place, only stretching to continue the markings down his long, spiny tail.
"You were second to last, Jessica!" Rip yells. "Kenzo, here, was our first success! Even more so with his mixed DNA."
"Stop your talking!" Guinevere snaps. She suddenly yells and all the soldiers run at each other. Jessica throws Ray from her back and charges this 'Kenzo' Rip brought. He may be bigger and stronger, but she's more experienced in the field of battle, that much she knows with certainty.
As soon as Jessica gets close, Kenzo swats her to the side as if she were nothing but a pesky fly. Jessica slams into the ground, causing her headphones to fall off. She hears Ray call her name in the distance. Jessica screeches and stands, shaking her head to clear it before she studies this creature.
"You don't stand a chance," he tells her.
"You speak like me," she points out as they circle each other.
"I am made of you," he answers before snarling and lunging at Jessica. She jumps out of the way and continues to watch.
"Does it not hurt you?" She asks him.
"What would hurt me?" He asks.
"Changing. I saw what happened to you. You broke," she reminds him.
"I've done it enough." Jessica is thankful she was considered a failed experiment now. Her body loses all feeling as her electrons spin and force her body to reform. That's why she shines when she shifts, but this man is breaking and reforming in seconds. "Enough talking. It's time for your death."
Jessica sprints away, back toward the castle, but Kenzo quickly catches up and jumps in her way. Jessica falls to the ground and kicks her feet up, cutting through his underside. He shrieks and turns to her with a low growl. Instead of fighting, Jessica turns back toward the battlefield and runs, expecting Kenzo to catch up with her.
Just as she thought, Kenzo jumps in front of Jessica again, but he expects her to try her drop trick one more time. Instead, Jessica jumps and catches the top of his neck in her jaws, digging her talons into his skin to keep herself from falling. Jessica continuously snaps her jaws down farther and farther around his neck.
