~3rd Person POV~
"Oh no," Nate sighs.
"What's going on?" Sara asks.
"Jessica's running off," Nate puts a hand on his forehead as he watches her follow Ness' so-called escort.
"Well follow her and find Ness," Sara tells them. "She'll take us to him."
"How are we supposed to keep up?" Ray asks.
Nathan sighs once again before answering, "just follow the screams."

Jessica had easily caught Ness' scent earlier when Ray and Nathan watched him walk by, so following it now is fairly easy. It's sifting through the rest of the smells in the city that makes tracking him difficult.
She suddenly picks up Jax's scent along with Ness' and looks up to see Jax throw his hat angrily as a police car drives away. Jessica skids to a stop beside Jax and cocks her head to the side as if asking what was wrong.
"He got away," Jax grumbles. Jessica quickly looks back to the road and spots the car, only to sprint after it. Nate and Ray soon come up behind her and stand with Jax, the both of them panting, trying desperately to catch their breath.
"Where'd she go?" Ray asks with an airy voice.
"She chased after the car," Jax answers. "That girl waits for nothin'." A sudden screeching of rubber on asphalt and crashing metal draws their attention away from each other and toward the new problem: getting Jessica to back off. Without a communication device, the only way to call her off would be to tell her in person, but if she isn't near anyone, that task is almost impossible.
They run toward the commotion to see a man stressing about his crumbled vehicle, and his wife in a blind panic, mumbling on and on about the dinosaur she saw get thrown from the top of the police car and onto their own. They look down the street to try and see if Jessica and the corrupted policemen are still around, but unfortunately, they're already gone.
"Lets just get back to the Waverider. We can find her from there," Jax puts his hand on Ray's shoulder and gets them to turn back.

"The hell happened back there?" Sara gripes at her team. "How come you didn't stop him?"
