Chapter 4

That Afternoon

When we arrived home, I went upstairs and turned on my music. I began to film my new product range for the release video when my phone buzzed. I picked it up and it was Shawn.

S// Hey Ky, Its Shawn. x
K// Hey Shawn! x
S// How are you doing? Today was super fun! x
K// I know I had the best time with you in the studio! x
S// I forgot to say one thing to you earlier x
K// Yeah? x
S// Well two things. x
K// And what are those two things Shawny? x
S// Okay the first one is that you are really talented, your singing is so good! And the other one is that you are really cute! x
K// Awe Shawn thas so cute thank you! Guess what? x
S// What? x
K// you are also a really good singer and your really cute! x
S// thank you Ky! Are you busy atm? Have you got any plans for tonight? x
K// I have nothing why? x
S// Great. Where do you live? x
K// House 6 in the Northbridge Estate. x
S// The one off the main road by the big IHOP? x
K// Yeah why? x
S// I will pick you up at 7:30, wear something fancy! x
K// Where are we going? x
S// It is a surprise. I will see you in three hours! x
K// Okay! Bye Shawny! x

"EMMAAAAAA, JAMESSSSSS" you screamed and your two best friends came running upstairs
"Sister whats up?" James said as he sat on your bed.
"We have an Emergency!" I cried
"What? Why?" Emma asked
"Basically Shawn is coming at 7:30 to pck me up and were going out somewhere to eat!" I said
"That's great!" Emma said
"James will you do my makeup? and Em, will you help me pick a nice dress?" I asked
"Sure" Said James "Go get a dress so I can match your makeup"
"Okay" I laughed as James ran next door to the beauty room to begin setting up.

Me and Emma looked through my wardrobe and found the perfect outfit. A deep red, off the shoulder dress with some black heels and my black clutch. James then did a nice glittery eye and a dark red lip to match my dress. We went downstairs and I saw my brothers stood there on facetime to Cameron.

"Hey Cammie Bear!" I said as Ethan passed me the phone
"Hey Kylie! Where are you going nice dressed all fancy?" she asked
"On a date"
"With who?" She asked
"Shawn Mendes" I smiled
"Seriously?" she asked, not belivng me
There was a knock at the door

Emma opened it and said "Hey Shawn! Come in!
Shawn entered and this was his reaction when he saw me

"I will talk to you later Cam okay?" I said as I walked over to Shawn
"Okay have fun babay sis!" She laughed
"Love you big sis! Bye Guys" I said
"Bye" Grayson hugged me
"Have fun but not to much fun. Don't do something I wouldn't do!" Ethan said as we left.

We got into Shawns car and dove to a really fancy restaurant.

"So I've been thinking" Shawn said
"Yeah?" I giggled nervously
"Never mind it's stupid" he said blushing and looking away
"No please tell me! I won't think it's stupid" I said, gently placing my hand ontop of his
"Well I think that it would be really nice if you know" he paused "if we end up dating"
"I would really like that actually" I confessed to him
His smile lit up the room more than the gentle flame on the candles.

And slowly our heads moved together. Inches apart, I looked into his eyes and moved closer. The connection was to strong to physically pull us apart. And we kissed. I could hear the fireworks going off in my heart and I gently pulled myself back, smiled and kissed him again.

Once we had left, he dropped me back at my house and he care in and watched a movi with the squad before leaving. As soon as he left, I was interiguated by everyone on how the date was.

"Did you kiss him Sister?" James asked
I blushed and everyone except Ethan screamed. I looked at him and he looked kind of sad.
"Hey Etee I need to talk to you, Night guys see you in the morning." You called as you walked upstairs with Ethan behind you.

"Hey big bro" you said as Ethan lay down on your bed. "What's bothering you?"
"It's nothing" he said
"Ethan" you lay next to him "talk to me"
"Ugh okay" he said sitting up. "I am happy for you, don't get me wrong but I dont want you to get too involved with Shawn and you end up getting hurt. Your my baby sister, I and I hate seeing you upset."
"Awe Ethannn" you said giving him a hug. "I promise you that if he does hurt me, which I dont think he will, you can be the first one to kick his ass." I giggled
"Promise?" Ethan said
"Promise. Now get out I'm tied and I need to change" I said laughing and pulling E off my bed and shutting my door.

I got changed and then lay down on my bed. I then picked up my phone and text Shawn

Me// Hey Shawn! Thank you for tonight, it was amazing! I hope we can do it again sometime soon❤️

He text me back saying
Shawn😍🔥// Thank you Ky! Had a really good time tonight aswell!
