Chapter 24- Move on

VIOLETTA'S POV:

I walk to school the next day and Fran goes up to me.

"Hey, Why didn't you text me yesterday?"

I ignored her and saw Leon talking to Andres.

"Hello? Earth to Vilu?" She said waving her hand in front of my face.

"Oh uh sorry" I say trying not to cry.

"Are you okay?"

I nod and look at Leon who is now looking at me.

Fran looks behind her and sees Leon.

"Did Leon make you upset somehow?"

Leon is about to come over to me, so I grab Fran and pull her.

"No, I'm okay! Let's just go to class"

We enter class and Diego comes up to me.

"Hey Vilu, how are you?"

"Great." I say. I look down nervously as Leon walks behind me to get something.

"You don't look okay... Are you sure?" He asks.

"Yes, Diego... You don't have to worry..." I say.

"So" he says nervously. "Do you want to go see a movie after school today?"

I glance behind me at Leon who looks close enough to me to hear our conversation.

"Uh... I don't know..." I say.

"As friends of course"

"Well... Ok" I say grinning.

"Cool." He says kissing my cheek. "See you then" he winks at me and then sits down.

"As friends huh?" Says Leon behind me.

I turn around and sigh.

"What? Are you jealous?" I say.

"No, it just looks like he doesn't want to be just friends..."

I roll my eyes and turn away.

"What?" He says.

"What?" I say.

"Why are you being really... Tense around me?"

I glare at him and he raises his eyebrow.

"Ask Lara" I say about to walk away.

He grabs my hand and pulls me to him.

"What do you mean?" He says.

"Wow." I say slapping his hand away. "I saw you kissing that Lara girl... It looks like you moved on quickly..."

"We are not together she means nothing to me-"

"Oh really?" I say shaking my head in disbelief.

"She kissed me" he says staring into my eyes.

We gaze into each others eyes and then I break the silence.

"You like her though" i say nervously.

"Fine then... Let's just forget this... We are not even together anymore so why would you care..."

He backs away from me and goes back to his seat.

Ugh. That's it. He fills me with so much anger. I will go on that date with Diego because I really just want to move on.
