Fast forward ko na lang ha? Ending na eh!
After 5 years…
Ang bilis ng panahon. Madami nang nagbago. Pati ako nagbago na din. Graduate na ako sa college at nandito pa din ako sa London. Dito na talaga kami tumira. Ako na din ang naghahandle ng company namin. Well… partly lang naman, kasi ang hinahandle ko lang ay ang company namin here in London pero si Mom pa din ang sa lahat lahat. Si mommy sa Philippines na nagbi-base ulit and she’s handling our company. Oh di ba bongga na talaga ako. Paulit ulit.
And for emphasis lang ha, baka kasi isipin niyo that I’m still dwelling on my past. Hindi na noh! Totally, fully and wholly recovered na ako. I’m not even bitter. Wala na sa sistema ko. As in wala. Akala niyo lang meron, pero wala! wala! I’ve totally moved on. As a matter of fact may date ako mamaya sa isang bf ko na British National. Oh di ba? 1 month na kaming mag bf and he’s the longest bf I’ve had since I’ve migrated here in London. Ayan ha. Naniniwala na kayo sa akin? Im not stuck in the past. Dali ko lang kaya maka move-on. Gayahin nyo ako ha? Hehe. Nagexplain lang ako baka kung ano pa ang isipin niyo.

Mom: Honey, How are you?
Me: I’m fine mom. How about you? Why did you call? Is everything ok?
Mom: I’m fine but I have a favor to ask of you.
Me: I smell something fishy. What is it mom?
Mom: You need to go back to the Philippines.
Me: Huh? Why? Sino magmamanage dito pag wala ako?
Mom: You have your Managers they can handle it and besides I want you here for a while.
Me: Bakit Mom? C’mon tell me! There’s something you’re not telling me.
Mom: Ok. Ok. I just accepted Carl’s proposal.
Me: Oh my Gahd! You’re serious?
Si Carlo or I call him Uncle Carl is my Mom’s long term suitor. He’s Korean and eversince he’d met Mom he never let her go. He’s been courting her for 3 years? I think. Oh? Ansabe! Haba ng hair ng momsie ko! Hahaha "_"
Mom: Yes. I am serious and he wanted me to prepare the wedding immediately. Well.. I’m not getting any younger so I’ve agreed. Ok lang naman sayo di ba honey?
Me: Ay Mommy may asim ka pa nga! Hahaha. Of course it’s ok for me. I wonder what took you so long to realize na mahal ka ng taong yun. And he can really cook.
Mom: So you agree na bumalik dito?
Me: Of course I agree. Maid of honor itong baby mo no! When Am I needed there?
Mom: Actually I’ve already bought you tickets. I’ll email it to you now. Your flight is tonight.
Whoooaaahhhh!! What’s the rush? Grabe si mommy. Bumili na kaagad ng ticket without any assurance kung papayag ba talaga ako. Hahaha!
