Boku no Hero Academia: Shock Wave

The Big Day

Rai had woken up to the sound of his alarm clock. Opening his eyes he looked over to see that it was 6:30 a.m. February 26th. The last day of training was yesterday and if he could recall, he and Izuku had only just a little more left on the beach to clean up. But sadly it wasn't a possibility as they had to stop due to them being out too late. As Rai got up from his bed and started to put on his clothes, he started to think about how this day would play out. Would uncle Yagi be disappointed, knowing that they couldn't finish in time? Will Izuku's possible dream be crushed at the fact that they failed? So many thoughts rushed through his head as got himself together and headed outside his house and towards the beach. 

Maybe if he got there early he could move the rest of the trash so it would seem that he and Izuku finished last night. He thought of the possible lie and was planning to go along with it. But as he made his way there, he saw his uncle already halfway there. With disappointment in his heart he headed to the beach, waiting for the harsh truth that he believed was about to take place. Once he made his way to the beach he saw All Might just standing there. "Uncle Yagi, is something the matter?" Rai asked as he approached him. He stood there, right beside All Might, amazed at what he was looking at. Izuku was there, stand tall on top of the rest of the trash that was left on the beach screaming his heart out. "Oh....my....GOODNESS!" All Might shouted as he and Rai stared at the young aspiring hero. 

Just then, Izuku began to fall off the trash, All Might then dashed towards him and caught him. Rai jumped down the ledge to meet with the two, as he was still surprised. Izuku Midoriya had some real guts, and he had a lot of determination to make his dreams come true. Rai couldn't help but smile at his friend, he'd done it, he completed the task All Might had given them and he charged through the last bit all by himself.  All Might had help Izuku stand up and Rai had him lean on his shoulder for support. "I am very impressed by you young Midoriya." All Might said. Digging in his pocket he pulled out his cell phone and showed the two teenagers two photos. One was of Rai and the other of Izuku. The pictures were taken at the start of their training to show them the progress they had made. Looking at his two students he felt satisfied in seeing the heart and soul the two of them put in training the past months. 

With that all finally coming to a close, All Might was ready to pass down One For All to Izuku.

Rai was standing in front a huge door along with many other young aspiring heroes. He was still prepping himself as the test was about to start. The goal for this test was to score points by destroying robots that popped up around the field. There were four robots in total but only three were worth defeating, as the last one would not allow any points to be given to the person. Rai was concerned with two things: One, being able to score enough points to pass the test, and two, if Izuku and Mina would be able to pass as well. Before the test Rai had met up with Izuku on his way to where the test was being held. On the way there Izuku was still showing signs of nervousness and nearly fell flat on his face. 

Rai was about to catch him until a girl had touched Izuku and stopped him from falling in mid-air. "Whoa that was a close one. Sorry that I used my quirk on you without asking." she said as she helped Izuku on his feet. Rai took notice of how Izuku became a bumbling mess in front of this girl. Once she departed and wished Izuku luck on the test Rai had went up to his friend to make sure that he was still conscious. "Rai....I talked to a girl!" Izuku exclaims as he made a weird face. Rai couldn't do anything give off a smirk. "Maybe next time you can ask for her name and number dude." he said joking. He could tell that this really made Izuku feel something on the inside and maybe, just maybe, he'll soon learn to strike up a decent conversation with a girl.

 Just then a pair of hands had covered Rai's eyes. He was about to put up a fight but then he heard the voice of the culprit. "Guess who, shes cute, funny, has beautiful eyes and loves to tease the living daylights out of you." He smiled as he turned around to see Mina behind him with her trademark smile. "Hey Mina, I was starting to think you were going to be late for the whole thing." Rai said. "C'mon Nagi, you know I wouldn't miss something like this, I'm too pumped." Mina replied. Last night they had another discussion about what the test might be and how they would handle it. Mina was ready for anything except an actual test, and Rai had hoped for a test where he could show off how powerful and tactical he could be.

Rai was knee deep in a pile of robot parts as he was catching his breath. So far he had accumulated up to forty-five points and his goal was to at least reach fifty-five. By the looks of it, crunch time was coming and he needed to hurry. Making his way down an ally he saw a what looked like a moving clothes trying to dodge some zero point robots. Upon moving closer he realized that the moving clothes, was actually a girl that was invisible. She had look like she was struggling with the robots, as they didn't hold back in their assault on the girl. Without thinking he quickly rushed to the girl's aid, picking her up and jumping high in the air before one the bots could hit the both of them. He then gathered electricity in his hand and blasted all four robots, shutting them down.

Landing safely on the ground he gently put down the girl and ask if she was alright. "Yes, thanks for that. I'm sorry I cause you trouble." she replied. "Don't worry about, just glad I got to you in time. Good luck out there, and be careful." Rai said as he jumped on to the top of a short building to scout for more robots. What a site to see, he saw many people giving their hardest and was actually happy. He was with people who were the same as him, all having quirks and trying their best to become heroes. Scouting the area he saw electricity shoot up towards the sky and a second later he saw birds swooping down in a ally. Man, it was such a welcoming site to take in. But he didn't stay still long though, as he spotted three, three point robots coming down a street. "Heh, well I better hurry before someone gets to them." Rai said. 

Generating power from his torso to his legs he dashed straight into the three robots. Forming a fist he gathered lightning in his hand drove right in the head of the middle robot. "Shock Dive!" he exclaimed as he sent a huge volt of electricity into the machine, causing some of it to exit through some of it's area and simultaneously shocking the other two machines in the process. He had worked on that little technique while training with his sister. He had two ways of using it, when forming a fist, he meant to impale a target be it a wall or any kind of hard surface. His second was hitting the target with an open hand, aiming to basically incapacitate a villain. As the three bots went down he suddenly heard a very loud "BOOM", which caused the ground to trimmer a lot. Looking up he saw something that made his jaw drop, a big...fucking...two point robot.
