Boku no Hero Academia: Shock Wave

The Results

One week had past since the entrance exam for U.A. Rai was still in awe at how the school just threw a huge robot at him and the others. The thing was like something out of those transformers t.v. shows he watched as a kid. He had done all he could to gain his points and defeat the giant robot, but he over worked his quirk and ended up burning his arms and legs. Whenever he went overboard with his lightning, it would start to heat up his skin to the point were his limbs would look like a hot dog link after its off the grill.

Even weirder his skin would soon start to peel off and leave blue streaks on him. Luckily for him he wasn't alone in trying to take down the huge machine. Other people were also doing their best to bring it down while others decided to run instead. Thankfully they had managed to stop the robot from destroying the makeshift city and when they had finally rested and gathered themselves, they had all heard the horn to let them know that the exam was over.

When Rai was leaving the building he was in the process of wrapping up his arms with the bandages Recovery Girl gave him. He was still in pain as he walked passed some of the kids who were talking about the test. His hands and arms were sore like hell, he could barely wrap the bandages around them. He soon felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see a pair of clothes standing in front of him.

 "Hey there, I never got the chance to properly thank you for saving me from those robots." Then it all clicked, it was the invisible girl he helped out. "Oh don't worry about it, I'm just glad that you didn't get hurt or anything, would've been tragic if you couldn't continue the test." He assured her with a smile. Just then the girl placed her hand on his left cheek and kissed him on his right cheek. The action made him wide eyed and stiff, this was the second time he was kissed by a girl who wasn't his mother or sister. "I know, I know, that was sudden but I had to show my appreciation, sorry." The invisible girl said. 

It was still clear as day and a few people were looking in their direction and some were even snickering at Rai's expression. As if it couldn't get any worse through his perspective, Mina came into view the moment the kiss was planted. And Mina being Mina, she came the moment she saw the whole thing take place. Fake gasping she placed a hand over her chest, "Oh Nagi how could you, you said you wouldn't flirt with any other girl." She said as she tried her best to try pass for a girlfriend. The invisible girl started to laugh as she realized that Mina was joking. Rai was too embarrassed to say anything and starting blushing. 

Mina saw another opportunity and just like that she wrapped her arms around his left side, being careful not to hurt him, as she saw that his arms were bandaged up. "Rai baby, please tell me it isn't so." This was Rai's limit, he knew Mina was a tease but this was way out of his line. He then gently unhooked himself from her soft grip and walked towards out the main gate covering his face. 

When he got clear of the building he stopped to gather his thoughts and calm down. He then pulled out his phone and sent a text to Mina with his mind still fresh on the whole little stunt she pulled. "Don't tease me like that, goodness people were watching." he sent.  "Aw, but you looked so precious, I couldn't help it lol." she replied. He sighed at her response. He started on his way home, trying to forget what went down.

The next day he had heard a knock on his bedroom door. It was Sasha who called out to him on the other side. "Rai, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my fucking gosh, open the door you won't believe what came through the mail this morning!" she said squealing. Rai was puzzled but he opened the door to find his sister holding out an envelope with the U.A. stamp marked on it. "HOLY SHIT!" Rai exclaimed as he took the envelope from his sister.

A few minutes later Ms. Kusanagi came through the house door hearing Rai and Sasha cheering upstairs. "Sasha, Rai, what's the occasion?" she said as she made her way upstairs to Rai's room. When she got close to the door Rai rushed out and hugged her. The action caught her off guard and she was confused. Soon Sasha poked her head out the door and flashed the U.A. letter to her mother. The verdict was clear, Rai Kusanagi was accepted into U.A. and this called for a celebration. After a while Rai was in his room getting ready for a night on the town with his mother and sister. 

While getting ready he was trying to get a hold of Mina and Izuku but neither of them were answering text. He figured that they were probably busy and left them to whatever they were doing. It was a bit strange since he figured Mina would've definitely called him by now since kids were getting their results back. 'Maybe they weren't able to get to everyone today.' he thought. Just then his mother knocked on his door to see if he was ready. He finished getting ready and headed out of his room.
