Boku no Hero Academia: Shock Wave

The First Few Weeks

"What a week this was." Rai said as he laid back in his bed, staring at the ceiling. His first week at U.A. High was really eventful to say the least. The whole week was quite surprisingly still fresh on his mind. Many things had happened along with meeting new faces and a few familiar ones. 

There was no doubt that he would see Izuku there, heck the both of them walked together on the way there. They had agreed to meet up at the train station that would take them to the school, and the rest is history.  They had a little trouble finding their way to their classroom. They had made the wrong turn at least twice before they made it to their room. Izuku was nervous, mostly due to the fact that he was worried that he and Rai would be sharing a classroom with Bakugou or this guy with glasses he warned Rai about. Rai could see the problems of Bakugou being in the same room as them, but he assured Izuku that nothing would happen, at least not on his watch.

Luck wasn't in their favor however. Bakugou was in the room taunting the guy with glasses, Tenya Iida, who Izuku talked about earlier that day. Rai was annoyed of course while Izuku was terrified. While seeing Bakugou had upset him, there were two others who he really didn't expect to see in the room. One of them being the most eye opening for him was Mina, and boy did she make it count. The moment he stepped through the door and was in full view of her vision, she hopped straight out of her desk and slammed into him with a big hug. She literally threw her entire body at him and nearly caused him to fall back, she was that excited.

"Oh my gosh! Nagi! We're actually in the same room together, this is going to be the best school year ever!" she said clinging on to him, her cheek pressed against his. Rai's face started to heat up due to this public display of affection Mina was giving. Ever since that mall incident he still wasn't completely over and Rai going ghost on her besides the usual text here and there, this was the fist time they had seen each other in a while. "I can already see the two of you being the talk of the school soon." Rai recognized that voice. Looking towards his left he saw the invisible girl from the entrance exam.  "Oh its you again, from the exam." he said. "Tooru Hagakure, nice to see you again, 'Nagi'." she said giggling. He blushed at the mere mentioning of his nickname that Mina had given him. 

"No fair Hagakure, I'm the one who's suppose to make him blush. Its my duty as the girl best friend." Mina said loosening her grip on the boy. 'Let everyone know I'm friend zoned why don't you.' Rai thought. It was bad enough that he figured he would never have a chance with her, now's she's letting everyone know that his chances are shot. Man if life wasn't a bitch to him before, it sure was being one now. Rai wasn't the only one having girl trouble. "Oh its you, the plain looking guy who smashed that giant robot!" 

Looking back, both of them saw the girl who had help Izuku from falling on his face. She started to talk about how it was so cool how Izuku smashed the robot in the face, which made Izuku a blushing mess since she was so close to him. Rai couldn't help but snicker a little bit as he found it funny. Just then the was a voice behind them that spoke. "If your here to make friends then leave, this isn't the time for that." All five students looked back to see someone in a yellow sleeping bag. 'What the hell?' Rai thought. 

The person had soon introduced himself as their homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa.

Most of the subjects in class were easy to an extent for Rai. The only subject he really had any trouble in was math, just like almost any other student. The second week he made a 72 percent on the math homework that was given out and while he was happy he passed, he knew that little victory wasn't going to last long. He talked to Izuku and Iida about tutoring him so he could do better, they were both happy to do so, especially Iida.

Lunch was something that Rai looked forward to every day.  He would always order one of three things: Chicken Rice Bowl  with Teriyaki sauce,  Pork ramen, or Steam Buns. There were times where he would try different things, but those were his fallback if nothing on the menu peaked his interest.
