The next day Rai had woke up to the sound of his phone buzzing. He groaned, took his phone in hand and looked at it. Thankfully the brightness on the screen was off, so it gave off a very dim light. Looking at it he saw that he had 5 notifications. There was one from Izuku, talking about how he passed the entrance exam and he hoped to hear from Rai soon about his results. He put down his phone, smiling as he came to find out that his best friend and somewhat brother passed his exams. He decided that he wanted at least a few more hours of sleep, since it was 8 a.m. and he was planning on getting up at 11 a.m. Rai then closed his eyes and went back to sleep, remembering that he had something to do that day.
A knock on Rai's door had woken him up this time. His sister was on the other side calling his name. "Rai...hey bro come on get up. It's 11:15." she said as she continued to knock on his door. That had made Rai wake up, he overslept. He got out of his bed and headed out the door passing Sasha and going straight to the bathroom. An hour passed as he got himself dressed and ready to head outside. It was raining that day, and it had given Rai a calm feeling. Whenever it started raining it would relax him, hearing the patter of the rain drops hitting the windows. Due to the fact of where he was heading, he was thankful for the rain. It would allow him to calm down and get his thoughts together.
Before he left his house he decided to text Izuku back and let him know that he as well passed the exam. "That's great news Rai, we'll have to get in touch with All Might soon, how about later on today when the rain lets up?" Izuku replied. Rai thought back to when Izuku found out about uncle Yagi's secret and how Izuku had kept his word about not letting anyone know. He learned that Izuku didn't even tell his mother, that was how committed he was. He didn't know if he could trust Izuku with the knowledge of another secret that he kept from him back then. But now he knew he could, so he texted back. "Maybe not today bro sorry, the thing is, I'm going to go visit my dad's grave today." A few minutes passed as Rai headed out the door, then his phone buzzed again with the message ringtone he set for Izuku.
"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know about that, forgive me if this is a bad time." "Its okay dude, I'm sorry for not telling you after all this time, its been a little hard to just get it out of me y'know. But I'll be available tomorrow, and I'll call uncle Yagi to see if he'll be busy. Cool?" "Yeah that's good, I'll text you tomorrow then, and Rai, sorry for your loss." He looked down at his phone, a tear leaving his eye, smiling. "Thanks brother, I'll see you tomorrow." he replied. With that out the way, he made his way to the graveyard to visit his dad.

When he made his way to the cemetery, Rai was back in his hollow mood once more. The cause of this was due to him receiving two notifications from Mina while he was on the train. She talked about how she saw him and how she wanted to introduce him to someone. He thoughts immediately went back to last night as he remembered the white haired boy who was with her. She talked about how he scared her when she saw him jump of the little bridge at the mall and how she had a nightmare that night of him jumping of a huge mountain and not making it.
He apologized and she told him to promise her that he'd never do something like that again. He couldn't, if the future works in his favor, he'd be doing more of that kind of stuff once he became a hero. He told her that he had to go, that he was doing something important to him. "Oh okay, I'm sorry if I interrupted you, let me know when your finish, we can meet up later." she replied. After what he saw, he just wanted to alone for the day, he decided not to respond. 'I'll play if off like my phone died. Just say I forgot to charge it.' he thought.
Entering the cemetery Rai had walked passed a funeral taking place, honoring a fallen police officer. His thoughts had went back to that day, that dreadful, awful day.
"Daddy?........Daddy wake up." Rai said looking at his father in the hospital bed. The little boy didn't understand what was going on. His sister hugging him from behind and their mother resting her head on her husband's motionless body. Gripping his cold, lifeless hand as the heart monitor flat lined.
He instantly brought himself back to reality, not daring to go any further into that memory. Good thing too, he was right in front of his dad's gravestone and if he got lost in thought any further he would've tripped over it. Tears pouring out of his eyes, looking down at the gravestone. Rai sat down on the towel he brought with him so he wouldn't go home with soggy pants later. There he sat, umbrella in hand, in front of his dad's grave.
"Hey dad, its been a while since I visited you. Sorry it took too long to come back. But I have great news. I passed my entrance exam and soon I'll be attending your old school. I'm really excited, and I can't wait. A lot of things happened, some good, some bad, and others....."
His mind going back to the events from last night, and the events before. He couldn't get the words out of his mouth. Rai couldn't deny his feelings nor could he get rid of them just like that, no matter how bad he wanted to. He knew it wouldn't be fair to Mina if he started to ignore her or try to spend less time with her. She wasn't at fault and she of course would have other guys on her mind. If anything this was just how life was for most people, and he was just unfortunate to be part of that group.
"I wish you were here dad. I wish I could ask for your help with this feeling. I just want it to go away." He placed his hand on his chest and gripped his shirt. "Why me?" He looked up at the sky with his eyes closed.
"Why?"
