"Lisa, your mother bought you some stuff. It's in the black luggage bag upstairs" My dad said while focusing on the movie.

I nodded and went upstairs.

Yes, my dad is here in Korea. He said he's just staying here for two days which made me quite sad. He said he will have business meetings here that's why he came.

I got my phone from my back pocket and dialed Jin oppa's number. After a few rings, he picked up.

"Yes, little one?"

"Oppa, dad is here"

"You aren't my dad, Lisa"

I rolled my eyes. "No, I mean dad is here. In my house. He's eating popcorn while watching Infinity War"

"Really? He didn't tell us"

"I was shocked when he suddenly called me to pick him up at the airport"

I opened the door to the room my father is staying in and went in. There were three black bags on the floor.

"DAD, WHICH BAG?!" I shouted loud enough for him to hear.

"THE SMALLEST ONE!"

"What are you screaming about?" Jin oppa asked.

"Dad told me to get something" I explained briefly.

"So what do you guys plan to do?" He asked.

"Nothing much since he's leaving in two days and we're both busy"

I looked at the three bags in front of me. The two smallest ones were of the same size.

Great.

I picked a random one and opened it.

This isn't the one.

Just as I was about to close it, something caught my eye.

'Certification of Birth'

I furrowed my eyebrows and picked the certificate up to read it.

'Name: Yang, Lalisa
Date of Birth: March 27, 1997
Sex: Female
Mother: Unknown
Father: Yang, Hyun-Suk
Place of birth: Bangkok, Thailand
Race: Korean-Thai'

I couldn't believe what I just read. It's as if my entire system stopped functioning.

Yang Lalisa?

"Lali? Are you still there?" I heard my Jin oppa's voice through the phone.

"I'm adopted, aren't I?" I asked slowly.

"What are you talking about?" I heard panic in his voice.

"I'm not actually our mother's daughter or your biological sister"

"Lisa what-"

"Don't lie" My voice cracked. "I know. I'm not part of this family"

I ended the call and put my phone in my pocket.

I grabbed the certificate and ran to my room to get my car keys and then downstairs.

"Lisa, where are you going? The movie isn't finished yet" My dad said, his eyes still fixated on the television.

"Explain this later, dad" I held out the certificate which made him look at me.

"Lali-"

"Explain later" I sighed. "I have to go somewhere important first"
