New Years Eve...
"Vegas, y'all having a good time?!" I yelled to the crowd.
"I can't fucking hear you."
They responded again with a thunderous roar.
"Much better."
I wiped my brow with a towel and signaled the band for Say Aah.
The energy in here was crazy lit.
Drais always fucked with me during the holiday weekends and made sure a nice bag was ready for me if I came through and fucked around a lil bit.
To make a trip out of it, I'd brought Tae with me along with Bully and Kelly.
After the show, we'd hit a few tables, eat a nice dinner, and maybe hit a spot or two to bring the new year in the right way.
As the song slowed, my drummer, Amadeus, got my attention.
"It's time for the countdown, boss."
My team brought out different types of liquor as the countdown clock appeared on a gigantic LED screen behind me signaling thirty seconds until the start of a brand new year.
"Y'all come out here." I yelled backstage to my team.
I looked over at the hidden, private screened sound stage attached to the side of me where Tae, Kelly, and Bully had been sitting for the show.
With my finger, I motioned for them to come towards me.
Slowly, they made their way to the center of the stage.
As soon as the crowd caught glimpses of Tae and Kelly, they went nuts.
"Y'all make some noise for my childhood best friend, my brother, my guy, Big Bully. And of course, two thirds of the best selling female group of all time, Destiny's Child." I said carefully into the mic as the crowd continued to go crazy.
I held my right hand out for Tae and she quickly took it.
"Everybody grab a drink."
"Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four...." The crowd chanted.
"Three, two, one," I joined in, "Happy New Year!!"
Tae and I looked at each other and smirked.
"Kiss me." She requested pulling me in.
Without thinking about it, I took her lips in mine and started an all out make out session in front of all these people.
The reaction from the crowd deafened me damn near even with the one noise cancellation earbud I had in.
I felt her laugh in my mouth as she disengaged.
"Don't start no shit up here." I mumbled off the mic as I gave her a wink.
