"Good evening, ma'am. I'll be your waiter for tonight. Would you like to order now or want to have some time?" Aly asked the porcelain lady whose dining at the restaurant where she works part time.

Their eyes met for the first time but it sure felt like a lifetime. Ly got lost by the beautiful, mesmerizing blue eyes that's outraged by many emotions that's shining all at once among the lights of the chandelier. That's how she first met her.

Ly was buying her favorite milkshake when she spotted the girl from the other day. She seemed to never forget her awestrucking, angelic face. Lalo na ngayon habang tinitingnan nya ito mula sa malayo.

"She's even more beautiful in broad daylight." She muttered under her breath.

But she doesn't want to look like a creep. That's why she immediately took a sip of her milkshake, hoping to gather enough courage as she approach her.

"Hey."

The girl looks up from her phone and Ly got struck with those bright smile and blue eyes once again, recognizing her.

'her smile, gosh.'

"hey! I remember you.. alyssa, right? From the resto?"

Ly's heart soars. "Uh, yeah. I never thought I'd see you here.."

' God, I never thought I'd see you again..' she thought.

And when Den's smile widen, Ly's confidence falter.

'naku, naku. Wag ganun. Wala tayong mararating nito, eh.' she cursed in her mind.

After some praises, and a lot of fidgeting on Ly's part, she decided to ask.

"Uhm.. pwede kang.. maano.. uhh.."

then her eyes widened as Den let out that oh-so-adorable giggle when she realized what she said implied.

"I mean.. ano, hindi!.. ibig kong sabihin..ano- uhh pwede ka bang maimbitahan.. I mean.. sa seaside. Hindi pa naman masyado mainit. Maganda.. yung panahon. Kung ayaw mo naman ok lang. I mean o--" she rambled but stopped when Den nodded her head.

Now her nervousness doubled.

That's the second time they talked to each other.

"grabe ka!! Mas matanda ka sakin!" Ly laughed as she watch Den ate her last slice of pizza.

It's almost sunset, they enjoyed each other's company too much to have lunch together, talk, and joke around, and end up in a bench right under a huge tree.

"But look at your height oh." Den laughed back.

Ly swears it's her second favorite sound at the moment, the first one being her voice itself.

"Not my fault na cute size yung height mo.." Ly whispered, but still Den heard.

"Your such a..." Den narrowed her eyes jokingly. "You should meet my bestfriend, Ella, then tell that to her and I won't hold her back." She threatened light-heartedly.

"Joke lang eh." Ly pouted.

Den finds it cute so she pinched her cheeks, hard.

"Ow." She winced. Den just laughed at her.
