*Recap*
I chuckled as I placed my bag on the table and sat down. The sound of chatter started to fill the air as they had started to pile into the class. Turning to my right I noticed that the girl still looked a bit flustered so I decided to introduce myself.
"I'm Rose, and you are?" I offered her a friendly smile and looked at her expectantly.
"I'm Jade." She replied timidly, brushing away some of her bangs that had fallen over her eyes.
"And I know who you are."

Rose
"You do?" I studied her face once again.
"Have we met before?" I was really bad at remembering faces and was already feeling guilty at the thought that we'd met before and I couldn't remember. With me, that was almost a common occurrence.
"No we haven't actually," she replied making my shoulders sag in relief. "I actually overheard some of the girls in the washroom talking about the new girl who was Alexander and Amber Anderson's cousin."
Here we go again. People always had something to gossip about. I sighed feeling tired of everything already but decided that it couldn't be that bad and encouraged her to go on.
"Oh. So, what kind of things were they talking about which helped you connect the dots?"
"Pretty sure they must've been talking about how stunning you were because that's all I'd heard and now that I've seen you, they sure weren't exaggerating."
I saw Jade stiffen and I slowly turned to face the blondie standing at the end of our table who had interrupted our conversation. I took a moment to take her outer appearance in.
"Excuse me?"
Look don't judge me, I was trying to be nice and cheerful on the first day but I already had my enough dose of drama for a day with that episode earlier with Ashley, and I just didn't like the vibes she was giving. Also the fact that with her get up and everything, this girl looked like she was Ashley 2.0 in the making which certainly did not help.
"Oh, where are my manners. Hi, I'm Julia." She replied enthusiastically with a confident smile and looked at her friend who was behind her before extending her hand towards me.
I was in no mood to deal with this girl so I decided to cut to the chase.
"Okay since you already know who I am, is there anything you need?"
The girl didn't look happy about the fact that I just left her hand hanging there and let out a nervous giggle as she quickly retracted her hand.
"Um, so I was actually going to ask you if you'd like to come to sit with us at the back?" This time her voice sounded a bit hesitant unlike it was before, so I tried to let her down gently.
"Thank you for asking, but I'm good." I turned back to Jade hoping Julia or whatever her name was would take the hint and walk away but of course, nothing ever could be that simple in my crazy life.
"But I don't understand why you would want to sit with this-this nerd and not with us?" She stumped her feet as her voice rose. I also didn't miss how it was laced with disgust as she uttered the word "nerd" while looking at Jade like she was some sort of filth that nobody should associate with. Something was telling me that this wasn't just a one-time thing.
This bitvh was a bully just like I had initially guessed.
I noticed Jade fight back tears which broke my heart and instantly made my blood boil.
