The food felt extremely delicious to my starved self and I'm sure Amber and Victoria felt the same. Even when I was busy eating, both Amber's and Victoria's words kept playing in my mind. I had this habit of overthinking everything which always caused more harm than good.

After finishing lunch, we decided to go to buy some gifts for Ivan. It was his birthday tomorrow and he was throwing a party at one of his parent's mansions tonight.

The party would start from around 11 o'clock so we had plenty of time left in our hands. We scanned multiple shops to buy him gifts and also for some necessary accessories we needed.

Before leaving, visited a salon to get our nails done. As usual Amber denied getting her nails done because she just wasn't into these stuff. After some persuasion and blackmailing, she got her nails painted a light cream colour while Victoria's were done a light green. Mine on the other hand were done a shimmery dark blue to match my dress for the night.

After we were done with our nail appointments, Victoria dropped us home and promised to return in a couple of hours to help us get ready for the party.

I met Paige on the staircase and stopped to ask her about my luggage.

"Good evening Paige, has my remaining luggage arrived?"

"Good evening sweetie. Yes, your mom had sent over your luggage earlier. I've already placed them upstairs in your room."

"Okay thank you." I gave her a grateful smile and rushed upstairs.

Just like Mom had promised, she had sent over my remaining stuff and also the dress I had asked her to make for Ivan's party. I eyed the dress as I ran my fingers over the soft fabric.

"Wow, this is perfect. " I whispered to myself and quickly put away the dress to call Mom.

Grabbing my phone and I rang her up and she picks it after a couple of rings. I thanked her for the dress and she seemed relieved to hear that I loved it. Mom and dad still had a week left for their business trip and were really busy with their last-minute preparations. I talked with both my parents and they expressed their concerns about my wellbeing but I ensured them that everything was fine here.

After I hung up, I decided to take some rest and lie down on my bed but ended up falling asleep.

At 7 o'clock Amber woke me up from my short nap to come downstairs and get some food into my system before we started getting ready.

Alex had already informed Grandma about Ivan's party and I took a quick shower after finishing the light meal. Victoria arrived just in time and we gathered in Amber's room after changing into our respective dresses and helped each other to get ready.

After a while, we were done with our hair and make-up. Victoria was dressed in a dark green strapless dress and had her hair let down, and Amber was wearing a black halter dress with her hair in a messy bun. Both of them had their make-up and their hair done right and were looking absolutely stunning yet not too flashy.

Victoria was currently doing some finishing touches to my look as I waited patiently for her to finish. She wrapped up after applying a dark red coloured lipstick to my lips and pulled me to my feet.

"Tadaa!" She said in a sing-song voice and spun me around so that I could get a better look at myself.

I was wearing a dark blue coloured one-shoulder dress with matching stilettos. The top of the dress fit me like a second skin but it's a soft flowy skirt from my waist below and reached just above my knees.
