*Recap*
Sunday passed by uneventfully in the blink of an eye, and we were back at school again.
"Bro, I seriously can't with Maths," Amber groaned into her half-eaten sandwich.
"Me neither. I just can't understand a word Mr. Halton teaches us. I feel like all he does is spew out some gibberish, give us a hell lot of assignments, and expect us to magically know how to solve them." I winced as I remembered the nightmare that was the sh*t ton of math assignments that were due this week.
"Why can't our stupid brother help us with them? He's one year ahead of us!" Amber glared at Alex, who gave us an apologetic look.
"Sorry, sis, I just have a lot on my plate already. But something I can do is to ask around to see if anyone else is willing to help you guys with it."
"Thanks, Alex." I continued to sip my chilled mango juice when I heard something that almost made me choke and spit it all over myself.
"I can help you guys." Came a deep voice from someone who was sitting across the table from us.
Huh??

Rose
"You? You want to help?" Amber didn't even try to hide her suprise as I tried my best not to react.
"Yeah, I scored an A in maths last year. I can help you guys." Rhyan trailed off in his smooth velvety voice.
I looked up to see Rhyan Knight looking visibly uncomfortable for the first time ever, which was probably how he was feeling. His impressive tan arms were folded and resting on top of the table as his exquisite blue eyes bounced between me and Amber.
From what I'd witnessed, even when the fear of our mentally unstable Ashley had kept most of the fangirls away, when given the chance, girls were willing to sell their souls to the devil just to get to talk to the guy.
With that, anyone could see that this wasn't something he was used to doing, putting in an effort like offering help by himself to... idk err... get a girl's attention?
Me ignoring him, must've really gotten on his nerves for him to resort to this.
Amber's bracelets made a small clinking noise as she rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things, and it took everything in me not to collapse into fits of laughter.
"I mean, if you guys want me to, that is." Rhyan scratched the back of his neck, looking a tad bit nervous as he glanced in my direction.
AND I SWEAR TO GOD IF THAT AIN'T THE CUTEST SHIT I'VE EVER SEEN I-
"Uh-huh." Amber replied, going back to casually sip on her diet coke, clearly enjoying the look of discomfort, which was slightly visible on Rhyan's otherwise expressionless face.
From the corner of my eyes, I could see that Alex too looked kind of wary of the way Rhyan was behaving.
Fortunately for Rhyan, me Amber, Alex, and him were the only ones at the table right now to witness this rare phenomenon.
