Rose
A smile graced Rhyan's lips as he tilted his head towards the exit, indicating that we should get going.
I just blinked not expecting such a normal response from Rhyan. Also, the guy was casually smiling?? What was going on??
"Um.. okay." I replied cautiously and we both made our way outside. The raining had slowed down to a drizzle but upon one look at the still dark and rumbling sky, I knew that a downpour might begin again any moment.
"Would it be okay if I drove you home?" Rhyan questioned turning his head back at me and I came to a stop, slightly raising my eyebrows.
His dark eyes trained on me, waiting for an answer and I hesitated, my eyes darted to where my car was. As if reading my thoughts, he spoke again, "About your car, I'll have someone drive it home. "
I pursued my lips together, but, I couldn't have stopped myself even if I had tried. "Sure."
If normal brooding Rhyan was attractive, this more laid-back Rhyan with a smile on his enviously perfect face was fatal for one's heart. It wasn't fair when he looked that deeply into my eyes like that and asked something to me because, at that moment, not a single bone in my body had the strength to say no.
I wasn't even exactly sure why he had offered to drive me home in the first place.
Maybe it was because he too had sensed that it was about to rain heavily once more and he wanted to make sure I reach home safe? Yes! That was it!
I knew that I had to stop overthinking and making assumptions on my own but there was nothing else that would get me the answers to my ridiculous questions.
Rhyan wasn't exactly the type to give explanations and well I hadn't asked him why either.
I was lost in my thoughts and didn't hear the door open and close.
"With how much he's been driving me around, I might as well leave my car at home." I muttered lowly to myself and exhaled folding my arms.
"That doesn't sound like a bad idea at all now, does it?" Rhyan's voice came as his warm breath tickled my right ear, shocking me.
I snapped my head to the side, instantly regretting my decision. My eyes widened as I met with Rhyan's face which was only a few breaths away from mine. His one hand was on my seat's headrest as his body was leaning towards me.
I then made the mistake of breathing in his addictive scent, my body responding to it by slightly swaying towards him.
I should have done something, anything rather than staying frozen on spot but it was as if my brain had stopped functioning at that very moment. Not a single coherent thought was able to form in my mind and all I saw were those hypnotic beautiful blue eyes and those perfect luscious frim lips.
Rhyan had a playful expression on his face which slowly turned into something else as his eyes flickered across my face and travelled down, stopping on my lips. My stomach clenched deliciously as I felt his tantalising breath on my lips, and my tongue subconsciously darted over them. His eyes turned into an even darker shade of blue in response, which sucked the air straight out of my lungs. My eyes threatened to flutter shut as I felt him inch his face towards me.
Just then, there was a boom of thunder outside breaking the trance that we were in.
I jumped slightly in my seat and my eyes widened as I was brought back to reality. I whipped my head around and faced the window, taking in a ragged breath.
What has just happened???
I tried collecting myself and turned to look back at Rhyan.
"The seat belt," Rhyan whispered in a heavy voice.
