Chapter 2 – Ledger Lines

"You're amazing tonight, Sydney!" Calum screamed into the mic.

"Do you want more new songs?" Ashton asked, and crowd's cheers are louder than ever.

"Before I start, I just want to thank you guys for the support on the new single after two years of nothing. Thank you so much!" Ashton screamed into the mic as he started to play the drums, an intro to one of their new songs.

"This is Moving Along!" Luke said and Calum started to sing his line.

"Is it bad that I'm hoping that you're broken? Is it bad.." As he sang, the fans kept on shouting his name.

"Calum! Calum!"

"Calum!"

But the crowd's voices kinda faded into...Luke's voice? Wait, what?

"Calum! It's time to wake up! We have a band meeting in an hour! Management is gonna kill us if we're late!" Luke's voice came through and with that, he shot up from his bed and looked around.

"Fuck, I overslept." He ran to the bathroom as Luke exited their room. (A/N: CAKE AF)

He took his shower, towel-dried his body and hair and slipped on his Nirvana shirt and black sweatpants. He went downstairs to grab some food for breakfast but the other three are already waiting for him at the foyer of their house, Ashton twirling the key to his car around his index finger. He sighed and slipped on his black and white Nike running shoes.

"Don't worry, we're taking out Maccas on our way." Luke said.

Calum nodded and they're out of the door and into Ashton's car.

"What's your order, Calum?" Michael asked.

"Iced coffee and breakfast meal A, please." He answered.

After a few minutes of waiting for Michael at McDonald's parking lot, he finally came back with take-out boxes and capped drinks for all of them.

"You ordered a lot, mate." Ashton commented.

"I'm hungry!" Michael glared.

Ashton held up both of his hands in defense while Luke and Calum snickered at the backseat.

They ate their food and upon arriving at their destination, they gathered the boxes and plastic cups in one paper bag before stepping out of the car and into the building.

"5SOS, you're here!" John Feldmann greeted the four lads.

"John!!" they called out happily and they each gave him a hug. It's been a few months since they last saw John since he's been in Japan this whole time helping their friends, ONE OK ROCK, with their new album, 'Ambitions', which was already released in January.

"How have you been?" Ashton asked.

"I'm great! How about you guys? How was the tour?"

"Oh, tour was great! It's been a month since it ended and we already miss being on stage." Calum answered in which the other guys agreed to.

"Oh, don't worry about that, you're going on tour with ONE OK ROCK again in two months!"

"Excited would be an understatement." Michael said.

"Let's go to the meeting room and we'll talk about the tour."

They walked into the meeting room and settld in their seats. Tyler, one of the staff, came in with a stack of papers in his hands and gave each of them a copy.
