KC Davenport

Luke? My son Luke?! Of all boys at the high school, my son Luke broke Theresa's heart?!

"What? WHAT!" I exclaimed.

"KC, calm down," Kim tried to console me but it was not working on me.

"I can't, Kim. How can I relax when you've been just slapped in the face? My Luke is the cause of innocent girl's death!" I exclaimed and then looked at my scared daughter. "And this one decides not to tell me." I almost slapped Sophia until Bree stopped me.

"KC, slapping Sophia is not going to solve the problem, plus she's not done talking. Sophia, how do you know that the boy was Luke?" Kim asked her calmly.

"Why are you asking her calmly? Aren't you upset with her?" My anger was over the roof. "I am, KC but yelling at her is not going to do anything. Answer me, Sophia," Bree said.

"Luke told me himself. I swear, Luke is not at fault," Sophia was crying at that time and I felt bad that I almost slapped and yelled at her. I went over to her and she got scared because she thought I was going to hit her again.

But I didn't do that. I took her hand in mine and walked to the couch and sat down. "Tell me everything. What happened?" I asked her.

By that time, Sophia calmed down a little bit and told me everything from beginning to end. "I'm telling the truth, Aunt KC. Luke is not at fault. It was the girl who was shoving her tongue down his throat, she made it worse. She manipulated Theresa into committing suicide," Sophia said.

"Who was the girl?" Caty asked her cousin sister.

"Maddy Walls."

Caty's face expression showed disgust while Alicia's face expression showed anger. "Who is this Maddy Walls," Kim asked.

"She calls herself the queen bee of the school," Caty answered her mother.

"She's the captain of the cheerleading squad and she's had her eye on Luke for a long time," Alicia added.

"We need to have a chat with her," I suggested.

"Agreed. Do you girls know where she lives?" Kim asked the girls.

"Yeah we can take you there," Alicia said.

Janelle and Jada stayed home while the six of us piled in the SUV and was on our way to this Maddy Walls's house. We reached her home and saw that she was no normal girl, she lived a luxurious life.

Her house was HUGE.

"Dang. Her house is big," Bree said.

"Took the words right out of my mouth," I said.

We parked in front of the house and rang the doorbell, and the door opened, revealing a petite woman; the way she was dressed, she could be a maid.

"Yes how can I help you?" The maid asked us.

"We're here to see Maddy Walls. Our three daughters and Maddy attend the same school," I replied.

"All three of you are their daughters?" The maid gave us weird looks.

"The girl standing in front of us is our own daughter but all three are like our daughters," Kim said before I could say anything because she knew that I was getting frustrated since this maid was asking too many questions.

"Oh I see. Come inside." She opened the door wider and we all came inside and she requested us to take off our shoes which we did.

"Would you ladies like anything to drink? Water, juice?" She asked us.

"We'll just have water," Kim replied. "With or without ice?"

"Without," I said.

She gave us a smile and while walking towards the kitchen, she grabbed the house phone and disappeared in the kitchen. "She asks a lot of questions," Alicia broke the silence.

"Yeah she does," I said.

The maid comes out from the kitchen with a tray filled with glasses of water. She came in front of us offering the water and we each took a glass. "Maddy is shopping at the mall. I just called her and she said that she'll be back soon," The maid said.

"Ok," Sophia said.

She smiled and I swear that I saw her wink at Alicia and left the room, which was creepy. Alicia's eyes widened and went back to drinking her water.

30 minutes later

Half an hour has gone by and Maddy has not come home yet. All of us were sitting on the couch impatiently.

"Mom, let's just go please," Alicia begged me. I rose from the couch and went to the door to put on my shoes and walked out of the house and others walked behind me. I heard heels clicking and saw three girls walking down with shopping bags in their hands. "Which one of you is Maddy Walls?" I went over to them and asked.

"That's me." A blonde girl stepped forward. Blue eyes, blonde hair in curls, off shoulder red crop top, light color denim skirt along with gladiator sandals. She was holding shopping bags from Gucci, Victoria Secret, etc.

Oh, so we have a spoiled brat. "I'm Alicia's mom, KC. We've been waiting for you at your home for the past half hour," I told her.

"Well my shopping is more important. So, KC--"

"Its Mrs. Davenport for you." She immediately shut her mouth and looked scared. "If you're done shopping with your freak friends, we need to have a serious talk with you." Her friends cleared their throats and told Maddy that they're going to leave to go back to their homes. Maddy looked at me and others behind me.

"Ready Maddy?" I said to her.
