Chapter 25

Sean Davenport

Uncle Leo Dooley mailed back the location of my girlfriend in invisible ink and I was so happy to hear that she's still alive.

"Should we get our mission suits?" Sophia asks.

"I don't think its necessary," Tyler said.

"No it is necessary. Who knows what kind of weapons they have. We have to be prepared so we will wear our mission suits. Its for the best," Alicia said.

All of us siblings piled in Grandpa Davenport's SUV and Luke was the driver and were on our way to the location.

But while we were on the way, I saw a girl running down the sidewalk with a few guys running after her as we drove closer and closer, I recognize the girl and immediately tell Luke to stop the car.

"Luke stop the car!" I yelled and he stopped the car.

I jumped out of the car, hurting Sophia in the process by accidentally giving a scar on her leg with my shoes. "Sean!" I heard Sophia call out to me but I didn't listen to her.

My focus was only on her. To get her safe in my arms. She saw me and changed her course towards me and ran into my arms. "Sean! Oh my god! I'm so glad you're here! Please get me out of here!"

"Don't worry Alia. I'm going to get you out of here," I tell her, grabbed her hand but the same men who were following her.

They had guns and knives in their hands and were blocking our way.

"You ain't going anywhere, girl!" One guy said.

"Wrong! She's coming with me!" I yell at them and was about to lunge at them but Alia stopped me.

"Sean, please! Stay with me," Alia hid behind me with her head peeking out a little.

"Oh! So this is your boyfriend, Sean Davenport. Well well well, looks like we're in for a treat. Kill them!" The guy ordered the rest of the men.

They were about to raise their guns and knives at us but all of a sudden, the guns and knives were taken out of their hands and got stuck to magnets. Alicia was holding a trash can lid and there were magnets on it. Since when were there magnets in trash can lids?

The guys were about to run towards us and out of nowhere, they fell down. Their feet were cuffed. When we're they cuffed?

I looked at my cousin siblings and they were smirking at each other and even high fived. I love them.

We heard the police siren and two police cars were driving towards us. They got out of the car, ran to the men who were cuffed by the feet, and put their guns at the back of their heads.

"Don't move or we'll shoot! Put your hands behind your head now!" One police yelled and the men did that.

The police took them and left with those men in their cars. I looked over at Alia and she broke down and hugged me.

"Its ok. You're safe now," I try to console her.

"Sean, we should take her home," Caty suggested.

We took Alia to my house and the whole Davenport family was there, including Alia's family and I told them everything.

"Were you planning on telling any of us?" Dad asked me and I looked down, shaking my head.

"Good thing that Caty found out," Uncle Chase said.

"But Caty was also wrong. She should've told us," Aunt KC said.

"Forget them. Leo or Janelle should've said something," Mom says.

"Mom--"

"Listen to me, Sean. We are a family and families don't hide things from each other. I get it, we were being watched but you still could've told us. But no, the six of you put your lives in danger and.....I'm warning you all. When you're in danger, do not hesitate to tell us. Just because you're bionic heroes, that doesn't mean you all are now on your own and you can do anything without help from your parents. N-O. From now on, if you all are in danger, you immediately come and tell us, do you understand?" Mom scolded us all and we nodded.

"But overall, we're very glad that Alia is ok," Aunt Bree said.

"It's all thanks to your nephew." Alia's mother looked at me. "My husband and I can tell that Sean loves Alia."

"Our son went to the extent where he didn't tell his family about Alia and that she's in trouble," Dad looks at me with no face expression. I don't know what he's saying is a good thing or a bad thing.

"On top of that, he didn't tell us about the cameras installed in our house just so he could save his girlfriend and family. We are proud to have Sean as our son," Mom looked at me and smiled. I've always loved my mother's smile.

"I'm so sorry mom," I apologized again and walked to her and put myself in her arms. She wrapped her arms around me, kind of like a bear hug.

"It's ok. Just don't do this again. Your father and I faced danger before, so don't hesitate to tell us, ok?" Mom said and I nodded.

"Well after what Aunt Kim said, I guess I have to tell my secret that I hid from you all, including mom and dad," we all looked at Sophia as she spoke up.

Aunt Bree and Uncle Chase turned their heads to Sophia, waiting for her to continue. Tyler went over to Sophia and squeezed Sophia's arm, kind of like telling her to not say anything.

"Sophia...." Tyler said to her.

"It's time, Tyler. It's been too long and I'm stuck," Sophia told her brother.

"What happened?" Aunt Bree asked Sophia.

"Nothing happened, mom," Tyler said.

"Sophia, I asked you a question. What happened and what are you hiding from us?" She asked again.

"Actually that's two questions," Uncle Adam said.

Classic Uncle Adam. Aunt Bree glared at Adam and he was not moved by it. "What? Just stating the fact that you asked two questions, not one."

Aunt KC elbowed Uncle Adam in his side and he put his finger to his lips, telling himself to keep his mouth shut. He's saying that, not me. Aunt Bree turned back to Sophia.

"Promise that you won't get mad," Sophia says to her parents.

"We can't promise you that. It depends what the secret is," Uncle Chase said.

Sophia looked down and nodded. She took a deep breath and continued, "Remember when I went to summer camp last year?" She said and her parents nodded.

"Well I met a guy named Rob and he was a really cute guy, but he always took advantages of the girls who were in love with him because he was the popular and heartthrob of his school. During camp, he was always hitting on me, but I never showed interest in him. One time, I was taking a shower in the bathroom and I..." She started choking up and Tyler stood their with his fists clenched. "He took a video of me in the bathroom and....." Sophia choked up even more but she composed herself and continued.

"On last day of camp, he showed the video to me and threatened me that if I didn't want the video to go viral, I have to.....sleep with him," Sophia broke down crying and Alicia went over to hug her.

Uncle Chase and Aunt Bree were shocked and didn't not say a word. Aunt Bree walked over to Sophia and seeing his mother walk towards his sister, Tyler stood close to Sophia in case if Aunt Bree gets mad and probably slaps Sophia.

Aunt Bree stood in front of Sophia with teary eyes and Sophia looked at her mother. "And did you sleep with him?" She asked her daughter quietly.

Sophia looked down, cried harder, and nodded. "Mom, I had no alternative. I didn't want him to post the video otherwise everyone in the world would see it, including you and Dad. I didn't want you to be ashamed of me. I'm sorry," Sophia apologized.

All of us were waiting to see Aunt Bree's worst form because we all knew that she would get angry. But she did something that was a huge relief to us all.

She hugged Sophia.
