Chapter 3

"I've been good. How are you guys?" Jada asked.

"We're good. We brought something for you," Caty said and took the container of waffles out of her purse and gave it to Jada.

Excited Jada took the waffles from Caty and ate some.

"Whoa! We brought maple syrup too," Alicia said and took the maple syrup from her purse and gave it to Jada.

"These waffles are so good. They're light and fluffly," Jada said.

"I'm glad you like it. Uncle Leo and Aunt Janelle were thinking about you this morning," Sophia said.

Jada stopped eating and looked at her cousin sisters. "What were they saying?"

"They realized that its been 17 years since you've been......kidnapped. And they miss you a lot and wondering where they're going to find you," Alicia said.

Jada's eyes started to water. "Believe me. I want to go back too, but I can't."

"Jada, you've had so many opportunities to come back. Those people won't even find out where you'll be," Sophia said trying to reason with Jada.

"You don't understand, Soph. Its not that easy. They keep track of my every move. If I escape, I'm just asking for trouble and they'll know where I'll be. I'm only waiting till I turn eighteen three months and they'll let me go," Jada explained.

The girls saw Caty's eyes go wide. "Caty, what's wrong?" Jada asked Caty.

"Luke," Caty said.

"Luke? Where?" Sophia freaked out.

"Shut up, Sophia, otherwise they'll hear you. They're at Sbarro," Caty said and motioned her head in the direction where she was looking.

The girls turned and saw Luke with a few of his friends at Sbarro, getting pizza. They turned back.

"Oh crap! Jada, we'll see you next week. Ok bye," Alicia said and the girls went their own way. "Luke is hanging out with those jerk guys again. He knows that they're not the right crew to be with, yet he still hangs out with them."

"Alicia!" The girls stopped, turned around and saw Luke with his friends. "What are you guys doing here?" Luke asked.

"Shopping," Caty answered.

"Shopping? Oh yeah. Mom said that you three were going shopping," Luke said.

"Well today's our lucky day. You girls wanna join us?" One of the guys, Mark said.

"Mark, let them go. You three go shopping," Luke said quickly.

Mark slapped his hand on Luke's shoulder and Luke got nervous. "Luke, I didn't know that you had three...sexy....beautiful....gorgeous.........hot sisters, right boys?" Mark had a smirk on his face while looking at the girls and they felt uncomfortable.

"Actually they were just about to leave." Luke went over to his sisters. "Don't ask any questions. Listen to me and just go home," Luke whispered to his sisters.

"But Luke, why do you always hang out with them?" Sophia asked.

"Sophia, no questions! Just go," Luke said and was about to take the girls out but Mark came in their way with his arms outstretched on either side.

"Don't be a spoil sport, Luke. Remember our deal?" Mark gave Luke a look.

"Deal? What deal?" The girls asked in unison. Luke avoided looking at his sisters.

"Yes. I remember our deal but don't involve my sisters," Luke said.

"Then they will hang out with us. We were just about to eat pizza. Let's go eat," Mark said.

The boys followed Mark like he was their leader; follow the leader. Luke was not happy about Mark getting close to his sisters but he had no choice. He had to do it for her.

They all sat at a table. Mark had Alicia and Caty sit on either side of him and the second guy of the crew was sitting next to her and admiring her. Luke sat in front of Mark with Alicia and the third guy on either side of him, and Sophia was sitting between the second guy and third guy. The third guy was admiring Sophia.

Mark looked over at Alicia and was twirling a strand of her hair around his finger.

"Please leave my hair alone." Alicia pushed Mark's hand out of the way but Mark caught her hand and pulled her close to him. Alicia wanted to use her bionics to make him back from her but she knew that she couldn't as no one knows that she's bionic.

"Or what sweetheart? A kiss?" Mark leaned in and Alicia closed her eyes in fear. But she felt the kiss on her cheek and she opened her eyes to find Mark millimeters from her face. Luke was looking down in defeat as he couldn't do anything to stop Mark.

"Your eyes are so beautiful," Mark told Alicia.

The second guy, Josh, was flirting with Caty and she was disgusted. The third guy, Kyle, was running his finger down Sophia's arm and she was flinching and trying to inch away from him but Kyle kept pulling her chair closer to him.

"Too bad that you're the third wheel, Luke," Mark said and the three of them laughed. The girls were on a verge of tears and looked at their brother. Luke slightly shook his head at them, telling them to not worry and it will be over soon.

These morons are flirting with my sisters and I can't do anything about it because of our deal. I have to side with him to save my sister, Jada.

Even Luke is saving Jada?
