Andre Dooley Davenport
I was crossing my arms over my stomach so that these people could not hear my stomach growling. It's 10pm and I'm starving like anything. Aunt Bree and Mom made dinner for the kidnappers and was ordered not to make any food for the rest of us. They were hoping that they could cook dinner for us without them watching, but unfortunately, one of the men was watching their every move in the kitchen. The kidnappers ate all the food and nothing was left.
I've only been drinking water to fill up my hunger and baby Elle has been crying nonstop. Aunt Bree is trying to comfort her but it wasn't working, and these kidnappers were getting frustrated.
"Shut the baby up!" The lead kidnapper yelled at Aunt Bree.
Aunt Bree looked like she was about to pounce on this psycho, but she kept her cool, because none of them knew that we were bionics.
"She's hungry. I can't keep her quiet unless I give her food. Can I please give her milk?" Aunt Bree asks him.
"Are you....why don't you put that damn thing in her mouth?!" the kidnapper yelled and she put the pacifier in baby Elle's mouth, but she spit it right out. The kidnapper groaned in frustration and kicked the small table over and that made Elle cry louder.
The kidnapper walked over to Aunt Bree and I couldn't believe what he was about to do next. He raised his hand up to slap Elle!
Before his hand went down, Tyler got up and ran over in front of Elle and he took the slap on his face. The kidnapper was taken back from the action.
"What the hell!"
"If you ever lay your hand on my daughter, I will break your hand!" Tyler shouted. The kidnapper laughed and said, "Oh! So this little brat is your daughter? So you might be able to do it. Get her to stop crying!"
Tyler turned around and took baby Elle in his arms and went against the kidnapper by grabbing the baby backpack, took out the baby bottle and put it in baby Elle's mouth. Baby Elle immediately sucked on the bottle and she started drinking the milk and stopped crying.
Baby Elle finished drinking the milk and fell asleep in Tyler's hands. "Finally, some peace in here," the kidnapper breathed out.
"Sophia?" Uncle Chase called out for Sophia. "Before we left to come here, you told me that you need help in your math homework, and I told you that when we get home, I would help you?"
Sophia looked confused. I guess Uncle Chase did not tell her anything like that and neither did she ask him for help in math. Sophia and Uncle Chase went over to the dining table, grabbed a notebook from the telephone stand, and had Sophia sit down at the table.
First, Uncle Chase wrote something on the paper and then Sophia followed after. After a while, Sophia went over to her mother and sat down next to her. Uncle Chase was walking towards the half bathroom when one of the men stopped him and said, "Where are you going?" He asked him.
"I have to use the restroom," Uncle Chase said.
"Make it fast!" He exclaimed. Uncle Chase went inside, came out of the bathroom after five minutes, and sat down next to Dad.
"I feel like punching every single guy here," Jada whispered to me. I looked over at Tyler and saw that baby Elle fell asleep in Tyler's hands. "Guys, I hid my phone under the blanket in Tyler's room. I just need a distraction to get to the phone," Tyler whispered to us.
"Ok," Jada nodded at Tyler.
Out of nowhere, Jada looks about she was going to vomit and immediately ran upstairs. "Jada! Are you okay?!" Mom called out to her.
"I'll go see her," I tell Mom and run upstairs after her. I saw her go into the bathroom of my bedroom and I knocked on the door.
"Jada," I whispered and before I could say anything, one of the men entered the room.
"What's wrong?" He asked me.
"Oh....uh....she's v-v-vomiting," I stuttered.
"Then why did she close the door? Hey you! Open the door!" He shouted through the door.
"What are you doing? She's a girl," I tell him.
"I think I know that. Hey girl! Open the door!" He kept on shouting through the door and I slowly walked towards the bed to grab the phone that Tyler hid under the blanket. I put my hand the blanket and before I could get to the phone, the leader came inside the room and I pretended to loose my footing and fell on the floor.
He just gave me a look and said, "Clumsy." He turned to his man and asked, "What's wrong with her?"
"She's vomiting." I heard the toilet flushing and the door opened, revealing Jada. She's coughing and looks at me, giving me a look saying if I got the phone. I slightly shook my head and her shoulders slumped and then she went back to coughing.
I got up on my feet and she walked over to me. "Keep an eye on them," the leader said to the guy and left us alone in the room. Jada and I sat down on the bed and the guy was just watching us.
Hours later, the guy fell asleep. "Look at the door," I whisper to Jada and she did.
I slowly take the phone out from underneath the blanket, got in and texted Alicia, changed the font color to red.
Hey Ali. What's up? Everything is fine over here. Hope you're having fun in Arizona.
I snapped the phone shut and put it back underneath the blanket. Jada yawned, so I had her go under the covers and tucked her in.
"Sleep. I know that you're also tired," Jada told me and I climbed in bed along with her.
"What do we do now?" She asked me.
"We wait."
Hope you all are enjoying the story so far. The next story that will get updated is, "Alpha's Luna."
