Chapter 28 (Tyler's Story)

Tyler Davenport

"She's pregnant with Rob's child?!" Sophia exclaimed and I nodded in response.

"So she actually went to Rob and...." She trailed off and I nodded at her.

"And you said that you have nothing to do with her?" Sophia said.

"How many times do I have to nod at you?" I tell her.

"Tyler, can I just say that.......what kind of boyfriend are you?" I looked at my sister in disbelief.

"What? You think what I did was wrong?" I ask her.

"Duh obviously! First of all, it wasn't her fault. Rob blackmailed her and she probably had no choice but to listen to him. What else could she do?" Sophia exclaimed.

"Blackmailed? Who said that Rob blackmailed her?" I ask her and Sophia looked at me with a look.

"All the girls who came to our house, were the ones who Rob blackmailed and Natalie came, so of course, Rob blackmailed her," Sophia stated the obvious.

"No you got it all wrong. Rob was not blackmailing Rob. She cheated on me!" I yell.

Sophia closed her mouth and her eyes were wide open. "She cheated on you? With Rob?"

I nod at her, laid down back on the bed and looked up at the ceiling.

"Oh I'm sorry. I....didn't know," She said softly and sat down by my feet on the bed.

"I didn't give her what she wanted. I had a crush on her for a long time and the same thing went with me for her. We confessed our feelings to each other and started dating. We've both been dating for almost a year and we never went past making out with each other. I was fine with it but she wasn't and she kept telling me that I'm the one for her. When it comes to having a soulmate, I don't immediately decide if she's the one for me, you know that," I explain and Sophia nods her head in agreement.

I continued, "But she was so adamant about it and everything was going downhill, and we started fighting so much that she told me that she would never talk to me again. So, we didn't talk to each other for three days straight and one day, I saw her looking not herself and realized that something was bothering her. She told me that she got what she wanted and feels guilty for it."

"She went to Rob and they both had sex," Sophia guessed and I nodded.

"I gave her everything she wanted and loved her so much. She broke me, Soph. She's dead for me. She played with my feelings and it hurt. She's currently nine months pregnant with Rob's baby and is due next week. I don't want anything to do with her or the baby," my voice was cracking and Sophia laid down next to me and hugged me.

"It's ok. We're here for you," Sophia told me and we both slept off on my bed.

Next week

That night, my parents could not stop taking pictures of me and my sister sleeping together because they thought it was cute.

Oh boy.

It's been two days since Natalie gave birth to her daughter and I never met her because I didn't want to get involved. To be honest, I actually have nothing against Natalie's daughter. It's just that she's Rob's blood and I don't want to do anything with her.

Me and my cousin brothers had finished our workout and I'm driving them home. Tonight is a special day because it's Andre's birthday and we're celebrating it at his house. He didn't want a birthday party; he wanted to celebrate his birthday with his family, which is very thoughtful of him.

I dropped the boys off at their homes and reached my home. I parked the car in the garage, turned it off, got out and locked the car. I walked inside through the garage door and wounded up in the kitchen.

"Hello? Anyone home?" I yelled and saw my parents, Alicia and Sophia sitting in the living room, staring at me.

My parents looked upset and my sisters felt sorry and guilty.

I put my gym back down on the floor.

"What's going on?" I ask them all.

"Who's Natalie?" Dad asked me.

I froze and my eyes went straight to Sophia and she knew what I was trying to say. "I didn't tell them. They overheard me talking to Alicia about it."

She told Alicia?! What happened to the promise that she will not tell anyone!

Liar. Promise breaker.

"Mom, Dad, I can explain--"

"I don't think there's no need for you to explain, Tyler. You were in a relationship and never told any of us? You got your girlfriend pregnant and never told us?! And you--"

"Wait hold up. I agree that I hid mine and Natalie's relationship, but who said that I got her pregnant?" I say.

"We overheard your sister telling Alicia about it," Mom said.

"No. I said that Tyler didn't give Natalie what she wanted, which is sex, so she went to Rob and he.... gave her what he wanted," Sophia cleared it and my parents were looking at me with disbelief as I looked at them with no expression.

"Natalie told Tyler about what her and Rob did and that she got pregnant, Tyler got upset and left her because she played with his feelings," She finished explaining.

Mom and Dad were looking at each other. "So we misunderstood," Dad says.

"Yeah," I stated the obvious.

"I'm so sorry, Tyler. We misunderstood you. We should've trusted you since you're our son," Mom said.

"It's ok, Mom," I accepted her apology.

After that emotional moment for my parents, we all went about our day and later on the day, we got ready for Andre's birthday celebration.

We reached his house and walked inside. The house was not decorated as Andre did not want decorations; he only wanted tablecloth and center piece.

"Hello my subjects!" Andre announced and 'gracefully' descended the stairs.

"You're becoming like your father whenever he makes his 'arrival'," Aunt Janelle said.

"Mom, I'm his son for a reason," Andre said.

"Ok before we start any argument, let's cut the cake," Jada said.

We all went to the dining room and Aunt Kim laid a circle cake, shaped into Harry Potter. It looked really cool.

We all sang Happy birthday to him and Andre started cutting a small piece of cake. After cutting it, he fed cake to all of us and we all attacked the cake.

While we were eating cake, Luke turned on the TV and the news channel came up.

"Luke, not today. Turn it off," Aunt KC told Luke.

"Wait, leave it. Look," Alicia stopped her brother and we all looked at the TV.

'We have news reporting that the CEO of Robert Industries's son, Rob has committed suicide in the jail cell.'

"Oh my god," Caty said.

"Good riddance," I said and my mom elbowed me.

'We also received news that a 18-year old girl gave birth to her daughter a week ago and unfortunately, she committed suicide, leaving her crying newborn son. The name of this girl is Natalie Matalli.'

I looked at the TV, where it showed a body of Natalie but her face was blurred out.

I stood up and only stared at the TV.

"Oh my God," I heard Mom say that.

"Why did she commit suicide?" Sophia said.

A knock was heard on the door and Sean went to go open it. After a while, I heard a baby crying noise. I looked and saw a male and female officers, Sean, carrying a crying baby. But not just any baby.
