Chapter 11

In this chapter, we're going to take a break from what's been happening and focus on Alicia and Scott's friendship evolving a little bit.

If you guys want to know, the video above is Adam and KC's luxurious house. Along with Adam, KC, and the kids, KC's parents also live with her.

Ever since she got the text from Scott saying that he's coming over, she's been freaking out. She started cleaning her room and putting some things in the right place while throw some of her things in her closet to make it fit.

After ten minutes, the doorbell rang and Alicia rushed down the stairs and she almost tripped, but she caught herself. "Alicia, be careful," KC said.

Alicia ignored her mother and before she opened the door, she ran in the powder room and checked herself to make sure she looked good. After checking herself, she speed walked back to the front door and opened it, revealing Scott.

"Hi," Scott greeted. "Hey."

"Who is it, Alicia?" KC called out.

"Um...it's.....Luke's friend, Scott," Alicia called back. Scott came inside and whispered to Alicia by the door, "I'm your friend too."

"I don't want the men of my family to be overprotective of me, just play along," Alicia whispered back.

Scott got inside and took off his shoes. "Hey Scott, my man!" Luke came over and did a bro hug with Sean. "Sick house."

"I didn't know you were coming over," Luke said.

"Actually, I came to see Alicia," Scott said. Her parents, brother, and grandparents from both sides were looking at Alicia for answers. "Um....there is something that I have for his girlfriend so thats why he's here."

"Uh huh. I'm watching you," Adam said.

"Dad!" Alicia telling her dad to not embarrass her. "Um....yeah....so.....let's go upstairs." Alicia and Scott went upstairs to her room and Alicia closed her door.

"So.....why are you here?" Alicia asking the most stupidest question. "The surprise box?" Scott reminded Alicia.

"Oh right!" Alicia got the surprise box from underneath her bed and gave it to Scott and he took it and inspected it. "I didn't send this to you too."

"Then who did?" Alicia asked.

"I have no idea." Scott noticed Alicia getting worried and scared at the same time. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" Scott asked Alicia.

"No I'm not okay. Its just family issues going on, thats all," Alicia said.

"Oh ok. I don't want to intrude," Scott said. Silence awkward tension building up like the water building out of the fountain.

"So do you mind if I tell you something personal to me?" Scott asked Alicia. "If you don't mind telling me something that's personal to you."

"I don't."

"Then go ahead."

"I broke up with Sara," Scott said.

Alicia didn't know how to react to this news. She didn't know whether to be happy for herself since Scott is now single or be sad for him.

"Oh.....I'm sorry," Alicia chose to be sad for him. "Don't be." She was confused.

"I'm actually relieved and happy that we broke up. I was getting fed up of her," Scott freaked out.

"You were?" Alicia was even more confused. "Duh." He literally sounded like a girl.

"Then why didn't you break up with her earlier?" Alicia asked.
