"I'm confused, dad. Why would your own childhood best friend kidnap Jada?" Adam asked Donald.
"We're technically not childhood best friends. We've been enemies for the ten years," Donald said and sat down on the bed in the room.
"Dang!" Luke whispered. "What happened?" Tyler asked his grandfather.
"Tyler, I'm pretty sure that your father has not told you this because you were 7-8 years old." Donald looked at Chase and he realized what his father meant and he shifted his position while standing, putting pressure on his right foot or his left foot. Tyler looked at his father and he didn't understand what his grandfather meant. "What?"
"I'll tell you. Ten years ago, you and your cousin brothers went to summer camp for 4 days and your mother was the chaperone, remember?" Donald asked him and Tyler nodded. "As soon as the four of you left, your father was kidnapped by Mason. I vowed that I would find Chase before you all came back and I did. I found Mason in his hideout and he told me why he kidnapped Chase."
"Why did he kidnap him?" Sean asked Donald.
"Because of me. He kidnapped Chase because of me. Mason's youngest son, Max, became bionic by Victor Krane and when we freed the bionics, Max was one of the kids who got enrolled in the bionic academy. We went on a dangerous mission and on that mission, Max sacrificed his life to save us all," Donald explained. "Dang," Luke said.
"Dad tried to explain to Mason that Max died a hero, but he thought that dad left Max to die alone and to get revenge, he kidnapped and tortured me. Your grandfather, my brothers and wives found me a day before you all returned from summer camp. But he said that he will do anything to get revenge on us and we won't even see it," Chase finished.
"So he decided to kidnap Jada?" Tyler asked his father.
"I guess so," Chase answered.
"Well this is a lot to take in, but the show must go on. Donald, do you remember where Mason's hideout is?" Charles asked Donald.
"I do, but who knows if he's still there," Donald said.
"Only one way to find out." The men turned around and saw the women along with their friends from different earths standing in the doorway. "What are you all doing here?" Jack asked them.
"We're going to help you find Mason and get Jada back," Kim answered.
"No no no no no. There is no way that you're coming with us," Jack said.
"Jack, your wife is right. You all didn't become bionic just so you can show off your powers or destroy things. You all get to save the world and your family, and that's what we do. We stick together," Oliver said.
Jack knew that he lost in this and did a big sigh. "Ok then. Let's go find Jada."
They all left the hospital and went into their cars and followed Donald's car to Mason's hideout. Iris, Cisco, Harry, Joe, Janelle and Felicity went back to Jack and Kim's house. They reached the hideout within 25 minutes but no one was there. "There's no one here. There's no guards, cars, a house, nothing," Caitlin said.
"There's got to be a catch," Barry said.
"Let's find out," Chase said and they all got out of the car. "I think I know how to do this."
Donald went back to the car, took out his iPad, pressed on some keys, and the invisible guard wall went down. It now shows a house and guards were lined around the house. "Got a plan?" Oliver asked.
"I think we should--"
"We gotta 'em!" The guards started shooting at them and they hid behind the car. "No plan! Let's just take them out!" Adam exclaimed.
