Sean Davenport
Seeing Caty with Maddy makes me happy for my sister, but it also makes me miss her at the same time.
I miss my girl. I just hope that she's okay.
My family and I reached home and we all went inside to get some sleep since its already 10pm and we're all tired. Everyone might be tired but I'm wasn't. I walked into my room, changed into my shorts, took off my shirt and laid down on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
I keep looking over at the bedside table at my phone, waiting for their call, but nothing has come in and I look back at the ceiling. I heard a knock on my door. "Come in," I called out and the door opened.
"Hey." Caty.
I kept looking at the ceiling as I was engrossed in my thoughts and the bed dipped down a bit and I was brought out of my thoughts and saw Caty sitting at the foot of the bed.
"Hey."
"Are you okay?" She asks me and I sit up on the bed, facing her. "Yeah. Why you ask?" I asked her.
"Curious?" Whenever she says it like 'Oh I was just asking that's all, but I know that something's wrong with you,' I know that she's up to something.
"Caty, why you ask?" I was being serious with her and she could tell. She shifted her position to sit comfortably on the bed and was a little closer to me. "Ever since we left the restaurant, you've been a little down and I got worried."
I looked down and was fidgeting with the strings of my shorts. Should I tell Caty about her? I felt a hand on my knee and it was Caty's hand. "Sean, you can tell me anything. I won't tell anyone unless if its necessary," She says.
Maybe I should tell Caty. At least she can help me but I can't. They're watching my girl. But not just her, they're watching me. They're watching both of us. I swatted her hand away from my knee.
"Nothing's wrong with me. I'm fine. Good night," I say and I went under the covers and turned the other way, facing away from her.
"Sean--"
"Good night Caty." She understood that I didn't want to continue this conversation and she left my room. I had tears form in my eyes. I know that I shouldn't have been that harsh to Caty. She's my sister and she has every right to look out for me, but I couldn't tell her about my situation otherwise who knows what they'll do to her.
Just thinking about it made it difficult for me to sleep but later on, I dozed off.
Next morning
I woke up to my phone ringing and I looked at the caller ID and it was him.
Sean: Hello?
Unknown: Its a good thing that you kept your mouth shut otherwise your girlfriend won't see the sunrise
Sean: No! Please leave her! I didn't tell my sister anything. What do I have to do next?
Unknown: No one noticed that you put the chemical in that restaurant yet......the chemical was taken out! Where the hell were you!
Sean: I didn't know that my sister was going to be there
Unknown: If something likes this happens again, this girl is a goner, got it?!
Sean: It won't happen again. I promise
Unknown: It better not
I heard a dead line over the phone and he hung up. I should've put that chemical in a different restaurant, out of all places, I put it in Olive Garden, which is Caty's favorite restaurant. But I didn't even know that she was going to be there on a date.
