The Davenport families left from their houses and went to the hospital. When they reached the hospital, they saw so many people huddled together behind the hospital. The families parked their cars, got out of the car, and went to the crowd. They politely moved people out of their way and saw Dr. Leah Sawyer on the ground, with bullet wound in her stomach.

Janelle gasped, "Oh my god! Dr. Leah!"

"I can't believe this," Kim said.

"The doctor who did our deliveries is the one who got killed," KC said sadly.

"It's very sad," Leo Dooley agreed.

"Do you contact the doctor's family?" the senior detective asked.

"Yes sir. The family was in Texas and I was able to contact them, and they booked the next flight to California," the junior detective replied.

"Good. Who was the first person to see her?" the senior detective asked the crowd.

"I did. I came to the hospital to check on my son because he was admitted for food poisoning. As I was leaving, I saw a guy in a full black clothing running from behind the building. I tried to go after him but he was too fast. I went to the back of the hospital to see what he was doing earlier, and I saw Dr. Leah's body," the woman explained.

"Boss, she was definitely shot in the stomach and she was probably shot within 10 feet," the forensic doctor said.

"Hm. Does anyone hear know Dr. Leah very well?" the senior detective asked.

"Sir!" Janelle called out. "Janelle, what are you doing?" Leo Dooley whispered.

"About to tell him that Dr. Leah was murdered. Plus he can help us find Jada," Janelle said.

"But Janelle--"

"Who are you?" the senior detective asked Janelle.

"I'm Janelle Dooley. Dr. Leah delivered my son and daughter. Plus, we need your help to--"

"Sir, we need your help for a different case," Donald said to the senior detective.

"Ok we will definitely help you. Brent, I will hand over the doctor murder case to you," the senior detective said to Brent.

"Sir, Dr. Leah's case is similar to the case that we're about to tell you," Donald said.

"Oh ok then. Come to my office and we'll discuss there. Jane, take the body to the forensic lab," the senior detective said.

The senior detective gave the directions to the family. The junior detectives put the crime scene tape around the crime scene so that no one can inside the crime scenethey all left the hospital to get to the crime investigation department. Within 15 minutes, they reached the department and they all went in the senior detective's office.

"I'm the senior detective, Charles. What can I help you guys?" Charles asked them.

"Our daughter, Jada got kidnapped," Leo Dooley said.

"How? And when?" Charles asked the family. "Jada got kidnapped after I gave birth to her, meaning she got kidnapped seventeen years ago from the hospital." Janelle told the whole story to Charles.

"I can't believe that you all are telling me this after seventeen years," Charles said.

"We tried to find our daughter with the help from the police but they couldn't find her and they closed the case. Can you please reopen the case?" Janelle asked.
