chapter 6

Beca's pov.

I woke up with a killer headache. I really regret jumping into that damn river. It didn't even kill jake! I slowly open my eyes and slowly sit up. "You okay?" chloe asks me. She also sits up in the bed and slowly rubs my back. "I'm fine." i say with a smile. Chloe smiles back. "Good. Now tell me how you really feel." chloe says. Damn, she caught me. "I have a huge headache. And i feel hungry but also like i will puke any second now." i tell her. "I can look for some medication if you want?" aubrey said. I only now noticed that she and stacie were awake and were listening to our conversation. I slowly shake my head. "No thank you. I don't want to waste it." i tell them. Stacie shakes her head. "You are extremely stuborn. Let's go downstairs for food." stacie says. My stomach turns at the mention of food and i notice a bucket next to the bed. I grab the bucket and start to vomit in it. I feel chloe rubbing my back and whispering soothing words in my ear. "How is it possible that you are still vomiting? You haven't eaten all day." stacie says. I shrug. "Guess i still had some food left in my stomach. Let's go downstairs." i say. I stand up and nearly fall back on the bed. Chloe quickly comes to help me. "Are you okay?" chloe asks me. I nod a little and sigh. "Just a little bit dizzy." i say. I look outside and notice that it is almost dark. I probably slept for about three hours. I sneeze when i open the door and groan. Stupid river. Stupid jake. Stupid cold that makes me vomit.

Emily's pov.

I look up when i see beca walking past me. I thought that i heard her saying something about rivers and vomit but i'm not sure. Chloe quickly follows beca and stacie and aubrey go to the living room. I follow them. They sit down on the couch and snuggle against eachother. Aaaw they are so cute together! "You guys are so cute." i say. They look up and smile. "Thanks legacy." stacie says. "How is beca? I heard about what happend earlier from ashley." i ask them. They look at eachother for a moment and then back at me. "I think that she still feels the same. She vomited again a few minutes ago." aubrey says. Damn. That's not good. "Is she going to be okay?" i ask aubrey. Aubrey smiles at me and nods. "Don't worry. She will be fine in about three days. She just needs to rest a lot." aubrey says with a sigh. Beca and resting don't go well together. Everyone knows that. "I'm gonna go outside for a minute. See yah later." i say while waving at them. "Be safe!" stacie yells back at me. I nod. I put my blade glove on my right hand and go outside. I'm going to test this bad guy out. I walk towards the closest tree and stand in a fighting stance. Alright. Please don't breake. I kind of like this blade glove. I close my hands and swing with my right arm at the tree. I swing at the side instead of the center wich causes me to take a chunck out of the tree. The blade doesn't even look damaged! This is soooo awesome! This is my new favourit weapon!

Chloe's pov.

I follow beca downstairs and in the kitchen. She goes to the sink and starts to wash the bucket. "Are you sure that you don't want to have some medicine? Not even for the puking?" i ask beca. Beca sighs and shrugs. "I just don't want to waste it." beca says. She puts the bucket away and i walk towards her and hug her. "You aren't going to waste them if you need them. I can give you something for the puking and the headaches. Is that good? Then you can eat something then and then you can go back to sleep." i say. I feel beca nod and smile at her after i pull back from the hug. "Go sit down. I get you the medicine and a glass of water." i say with a smile. She goes to sit down in the chair while i grab the items. I fill a glass with water and give it to beca with the two pills. She takes them and slowly drinks the water. I open the cabinet to look for something to eat for beca. I see a pack off crackers laying in the back of the cabinet. That looks perfect for beca to eat! I grab them and give it to beca. "Eat slowly. I don't want you to upset your stomach again." i say. Beca nods and she slowly starts to eat them. She only eats five before claiming that she has enough. "You need to eat more then that, sweetie." i say. Beca pushes the crakers away towards me.

Beca's pov.

"I'm not hungry anymore." i say. I can see that she doesn't beleive me. "Honey, you need to eat. Why don't you want to eat?" chloe asks me. I shrug. "I'm just not hungry anymore. I still feel sick." i lie. I don't really want to lie but i don't want to eat anymore either. "The medicine should work soon. How about taking a nap first and then When the medicine works you can eat the rest." chloe says. I sigh and nod. I really don't want to eat them anymore. I stand up and grab the bucket. I start to go upstairs while chloe follows me. I need to think of a lie to tell her when i wake up. What can i tell her? Say that the medicine didn't work? But she will probably force me to take another one and then force me to eat. I can't waste meds like that. "Are you okay?" chloe asks me. I look at her and nod. I'm so screwed.
