chapter 25

Beca's pov.

*her dream!*

I open my eyes and look around. Wait, why am i in a field? Am i in that dream again? Ohw no! I thought that i wasn't going to dream about that anymore. Why am i even dreaming about this? I stand up and look around. Where the hell is he? And were is that katana? He used to be right here! Where did it go? I feel the ground shaking and look behind me to see the giant walker standing there. But this time my katana is in his right eye and his left one is still bleeding! That's why the katana was gone! The  walker snifs the air for a moment and then rushes towards. I jump out off his way and look behind me to see that he is smelling the air again. He turns his body in my direction and rushes towards me again. This time i was a little bit too late and he caught my arm with his fist. I land on my back and hold my arm. That actually hurts! What the hell!? I thought that you couldn't feel pain in dreams? Then what is this all about!? The giat walker sniffs the air again and i quickly stand up. He turns towards me again and this time i duck away. So this asshole can smell me now aswell. Damn, why is he so powerfull? I don't like this. Why can't i just wake up!? Or why can't i just dream about normal things? Is that too much to ask? The walker stands up again but doesn't sniff the air this time. What is he doing? His mouth moves and then i hear it! "B-b...eca....." the walker says. Ohw hell no! I'm not dealing with talking walkers! Please wake up! Please wake up! Please wake up! I close my eyes tightly and hope that i will wake up.

Chloe's pov.

I'm on first watch alone and lean back against the tree with a sigh. Too bad that beca didn't come with us. I get it that she wants to continue working on that wall, but i miss her! I just want to hold her and hug her! I think that i'm just sad because i'm going on a run with two couples while my girlfriend is at home. Too bad that we need suplies. I just want to be at home with my girlfriend. Maybe even watch some cartoons with her. I hope that she is okay. And i hope that she isn't getting more nightmares! The last one really shook her up even tho she couldn't remember it. Altough i do think that she at leasg remembers little stuff about her dream. She just doesn't want to talk about it. And i get it. She doesn't have to if she doesn't want to. But i don't get why she had to lie because off that. I wouldn't have forced her to tell me about it? I would never do that! I sigh again and shake my head. Let's just focuse on staying awake right now.

Runner's pov.

Damn, that redheaded girl looks pretty! Too bad that she's already in a relationship. If she wasn't then i would have gone for her. But i respect their relationship. And if i have to be honest, then i do need to say that they look really cute together! If i remember corectly then shadow her sister is also a lesbian. The story of how she came out was really funny! I still have tears in my eyes when i think about it. Shadow is out doing a round around the group to make sure that their are no infected creeping up on them. Is it weird that i actually start to like that group? Just protecting them feels nice. Like i'm a good human being. I can't really explain it. I just like to protect them. "Didn't see any infected around." i jump a little when i hear shadow whispering to me. When did she get here? She looks at me and raises her eyebrow. "Were you staring at chloe again? She's in a relationship remember. With a girl. You better leave them alone, runner. Or help me god, i will destroy you!" shadow angerly whispers to me. I put mh hands up. "I wasn't looking at her! I swear. And i would never try something with someone who is in a relationship." i whisper. Shadow nods and looks down at the group. I'm glad that she beleives me.

???'s pov.

I'm sitting down in jake his old office when suddenly i hear a knock on the door. "Come in." i say. The door opens and a guard walks in. "Sir, sean is back with two of the guards who went with jake. They are in the medbay now." the guard says. I nod at him and walk towards the medbay. I open the door and walk inside. The doctor is working on both off them as fast as he can. I look at sean and he nods at me. "Those are the only ones who survived. And they barely did. There were some graves there wich i think that the subject and her friends made for the ones that they killed in battle. Some weren't burried but tied up just like these two were. I think that they just starved to death. The house wasn't looking that good by the way. There was a part that burned down and inside there was jake with a stab wound in his head. I'm pretty sure that the subject survived after seeing all that." sean tells me. I nod at his words. "You are right. But we were expecting it. Now the problem is that we don't know where they could be. This is going to be hard." i say with a sigh.
