chapter 31

Beca's pov.

Me and flo slowly walk towards the front door with our guns raised. I hear the door shut silently and look at flo. She nods at me and the both of us run towards the intruders with raised guns. "Don't move!" flo yells. I hear a scream and that's when i realise that it were the girls. It looks like stacie is the one who screamed. Me and flo sigh and put our guns away. "Guys, give us a heads up when you get home. You scared the crap out of us." i say. Chloe just smiles and runs to me with her arms open. I quickly open my arms and she jumps in them. I fall on the floor with chloe hugging me on top. I chuckle and hold her tighter. "I missed you so much!" i say. Chloe kisses me and smiles when we parts. "I missed you too. And you guys worked so hard! The wall is finished. I hope that you didn't over work yourself tho." she says. Chloe gets off me and helps me up. "Don't worry about that. Flo and ashley were keeping an eye on me. How was the run? Did you run into trouble?" i ask them. "We ran in a little bit of trouble with some walkers. They were about fifteen off them and no way to escape. We fought them but chloe fell when a walker sneaked up on her. Stacie noticed and killed the walker before it could bite her. Chloe hit her head tho and it was bleeding. That's why there is a scarf on her head." emily says. My eyes widen and i look at chloe. "Why didn't you tell me?" i ask her. I look at stacie before chloe has the chance to respond. "Thank you so much for saving her! Can you maybe check out that wound tho? I want to make sure that it is nothing serious." i say. Stacie smiles and nods. She gives her backpack to me and takes chloe her backpack and gives it to flo. "Let's go to the bathroom." stacie says to chloe. Chloe sighs and follows stacie.

Aubrey's pov.

"Someone is a bit overprotective." i say with a smile. Beca looks at me and shrugs. "I'm just worried. Head injury's are dangerous." beca says. I nod in agreement. "They really are, but chloe is fine. She wasn't dizzy and she didn't have to puke. There is no sign of anything bad. She doesn't even have a headache. She's fine becs. Don't worry so much." i say. Beca sighs and walks to the kitchen. We all follow her. She puts stacie her backpack on the table and opens it. "I just don't want anything to happen to my girlfriend. I don't think that i would be capable of going on without her." beca says. My eyes widen a little when i hear that. I look at the girls and give signs to them to leave us alone for a bit. They all put their backpacks down ans head to the living room. I take the backpack away from beca and sit down next to her. "Chloe wouldn't like to hear that." i tell her. Beca sits down and raises her eyebrow. "What do you mean?" she asks me. "If you would tell her that you won't be capable of going on without her, then she won't like that. If she would ever die then she wouldn't want you to give up. She would want you to go on and survive for the team." i tell her. Beca nods. "I know that. I just can't think off a world without her by my side. I would lose it if she was gone. I hope for the love off god that that doesn't happen soon." beca says. I nod in agreement. "We already lost too much of our friends." i say. Beca looks out the window at denise her grave. "Yeah." she says. I stand up ans give beca the backpack back with a smile. "Let's clear these things shall we?" i say. Beca stands up and smirks.

Stacie's pov.

I lead chloe to the bathroom and grab the medicine kit from the closet. "Alright, turn around so i can look at the damage." i say. Chloe turns around and i untie the scarf. I trow it in the sink and then look at the wound. "Hmmmm, it didn't open up more so you are lucky. It's healing good. There is no more blood coming out off it aswell wich is a good sign." i say. I open the med kit. "I will have to make sure that the wound doesn't start infecting tho. This might sting a bit." i say. Chloe nods a bit and i grab the bottle. I do it fast and clean. "There we go! Now there is nothing else that we can do but wait." i say. Chloe turns around and smiles. "Thanks stace!" she says. I put the med kit away and look at chloe again. "Beca is a bit overprotective of you it looks like." i say with a smile. Chloe nods. "Yeah, it's adorable. It's the first time this happend tho. I hope that nothing happend while we were gone." chloe says. "Don't worry about it. She probably was just worried about you being away for that long and she probably missed you. I would have acted the same way as beca if i were her." i say. Chloe smiles at me. "You're probably right. I was worried about her too." chloe says. "Let's head downstairs to help the girls unpack the backpacks." i say. Chloe smiles at me and nods. "Let's go. And ohw, stacie?" chloe says. I look at her and smile. "Yeah?" i ask her. "Would it be okay if me and beca could have the room for just the two off us for a while? Not for too long. I just want to cuddle a bit with her and talk tonight." chloe says. If i didn't know that beca was still a virgin then i would have thought that they were going to have sex. "Of course that's okay. Me and bree will watch some tv downstairs then." i say. Chloe smiles and hugs me in thanks.
