chapter 7

Chloe's pov.

I wake up and look outside. It looks like it is about seven am. I look down at beca who is still sleeping. I'm really worried about her. I know that she is sick but she should have eaten more. I hope that she is going to eat today. "Good morning, chlo." a sleepy aubrey says. I look at her and smile. "Morning bree." i say. She kisses stacie's forehead and then sits up. "How is beca doing? Does she still have a fever?" aubrey asks. I quickly check to see if she has a fever and smile when i notice that she doesn't have one. "Nope." i say when i look at aubrey again. "I can't beleive that we skipped dinner yesterday. We really were tired it looks like." aubrey says. "Looks like it. We will go downstairs soon to get some breakfast." i say. "Shut up. It's way to early." stacie suddenly mumbled. Aubrey laughs lightly and shakes her head. "Good morning honey." aubrey says. She kisses her forehead again and stacie opens her eyes. "That's not a real a kiss. Gimme a real one." stacie says with a pout. Aubrey chuckles and kisses her. They start to make out for a little and i'm not even sure if i should just leave or not. "Don't tell me that they are going to have sex while we are still here." beca suddenly says wich makes me scream. I nearly fall out of bed but beca catches me.

Beca's pov.

I wake up when i suddenly hear aubrey chuckeling. I open my eyes and see stacie and aubrey making out. I raise my eyebrow at them. "Don't tell me that they are going to have sex while we are still here." i say. I don't think that chloe realised that i was awake because as soon as i said that she screamed and jumped. She nearly fell out of the bed but i catched her. I see stacie and aubrey looking at us and smile at them. "Good morning!" i say. Chloe slaps my arm and i look at her with wide eyes. "What the hell? Why did you slap me?" i asked her. "Don't you ever dare to do that again! I nearly had a heart attack!" chloe says. I laugh a little and shake my head. "I didn't mean to scare you. I thought that you noticed that i was awake. But at least they aren't having sex right now." i say with a smile. Chloe laughs and nods. "That's true." she says. "Yeah, thanks for that, little cockblocker." stacie says with a fake glare. I shrug at her. "You're welcome." i say. Chloe turns my head towards her and gently kisses me. "Good morning babe." she whispers against my lips. I give her a quick kiss back and smile. "Good morning, baby." i say. I stretch out and yawn a little. "We should go downstairs. We already skipped a day full of work. The least we could do is get an early work day to make it up to the others." i say. We all stand up. "Sounds good, but first we are going to get some breakfast." chloe says. Ohw shit. I forgot about breakfast. How am i going to avoid that?

Chloe's pov.

We walk downstairs and head into the kitchen. "What can we make for breakfast?" i ask stacie. She looks through the cabinets and sighs. "There isn't much to choose from. We have canned soup, canned pineaple, some coockies, we have cereal, and some other stuff but it isn't much." stacie says. Aubrey looks confused. "We went on a run tho not too long ago." aubrey points out. "Yeah, but that was about three weeks ago. The food that we brought back mostly rottend or got eaten by mice and stuff. And then we didn't know that there were people going to join our group. We ran out of it pretty quick." beca says. "But we have a farm right?" aubrey asks. Beca nods. "We do, but there are only tomatoes. Nothing else. And they aren't ready yet. They take a while to grow. Maybe we should go on a run again and try to look for more seeds. Can't we take one of those little aple trees? Then we could eat some apples aswell." beca says. "That sounds like a good idea. Maybe we could send someone on a run later today." i say with a smile. "We should try to find a farm tho. Maybe they have chickens. We could use them. They can give us eggs and meat." beca says. I nod in agreement. "There is a store close in the town were we went last time that sells eggs to breed chickens from. We could take them with us and hope that we will get some chickens." stacie says. "Sounds like a good plan. You will need to go with them again probably. You are the only one who knows this area." i tell stacie. She smiles and nods. "I was planning on joining anyway." she says with a shrug. "I'm going to join to. I didn't get to go with you guys the last time." aubrey says. Stacie nods. "I'm going to join to." i say with a smile. I look at beca. "How about you? Are you going to join us?" i ask her. She thinks for a moment but then shakes her head. "I'm going to stay here to watch over the others. You should ask emily and hailee to come with you. They would like that." beca says. Aubrey nods. "Alright, i'm going to ask them after breakfast." aubrey says. She grabs the cereal and a bowl. "Can you grab a bowl for me too please?" i as aubrey. She smiles and nods. "Anyone else?" aubrey asks. Stacie puts her hand up but beca doesn't. "You don't want any cereal, beca?" aubrey asks her. Beca looks at her and shakes her head. "No, i'm not really hungry. I need to wake up first and stuff you know?" she says while she laughs akwardly. Aubrey raises an eyebrow and looks at me. I shrug a little and look at beca in concern. We all know that she is the biggest eater in the morning.
