chapter 26

Beca's pov.

I open my eyes and notice that i'm awake now. Looks like i fell asleep on the couch. I sigh and look outside. It should be early in the morning now. "Ohw, you are awake." i look behind me and notice ashley walking down the stairs. "Yeah. I'm sorry that i fell asleep." i say. Ashley smiles and sits down next to me. "It's fine. It was obvious that you were tired. I'm not going to be mad at you because of that." ashley says. I nod and smile. "Are you okay? You look kind off pale. Did you see a gosth or something?" ashley asks. Do i really look pale? It was probably because off that nightmare. "No, i'm fine. I guess that i need more sunlight." i say with a smile. Ashley nods. "Yeah, you could use it. So, did you think more about that wedding thing?" ashley asks me. I smile a little. "I have. I'm going to find a way to make some sort of ring or whatever we could use. Then we are hopefully getting engaged. Then we can discuss the wedding together." i say. Ashley smiles and nods. "Sounds like a good plan." she says. I stretch a little and groan. "Let's grab some breakfast. We need energy so we can finish that wall." i say. Ashley nods and we get up from the couch. I'm glad that she isn't fighting me about working. If it would be chloe, stacie or aubrey then i wouldn't even be allowed to get up from that couch. It's nice that they are worried but i'm not going to break if i work a little. I look outside and see denise's grave. My face drops. I'm sorry that i couldn't protect you. I'm sorry that i failed you.

Hailee's pov.

It's morning now and we are ready to start walking again. We still haven't seen any walker but i'm not too worried about it. The less walkers the faster the trip will go. "Hey, you ready to go?" emily asks me. I smile and nod. "I'm ready." i say. I kiss her cheeck and turn towards the others. "Let's go, shall we?" they all nod. We start to walk again in the direction that we are supposed to go. Aubrey looks around for a moment and then frowns. "We still haven't seen any walkers. Am i the only one who thinks that it is weird?" aubrey says. I shrug and chloe thinks for a moment. "To be honest, i don't think that we should worry about that. If we don't see any then that is good for us. We are going to reach the town faster if we don't come across any walkers. If we keep going like this then we should reach the town in about two days instead off three." i say. They nod in agreement. "You're right! We will be back in no time if we keep this up. Then chloe can go back to beca faster!" stacie says while smiling at chloe. Chloe smiles and looks at us. "I can't wait to get back to her! I miss her so much." chloe says. I get that. I think that we all get that. Being away from your loved one for even an hour can hurt!

Silence's pov.

I have a pretty good vieuw inside off the house from where i am and saw beca falling asleep. Her friend went upstairs to sleep so i decided to get an hour off sleep. I woke up a lot later then i wanted to but just in time to see beca having some sort off nightmare. I can understand that. This has become a cruel world and some people just can't handle it. It just makes me want to kill the person who is responsible for this even more. I would have understand it if he was looking for some cure for some sort off illness and this came out off. Then at least he was trying to do something good. But i know that he wasn't doing that. He was trying to make this. He wanted to make a weapon and got it. He asked for it. The only thing that i don't know is if they wanted it to spread around the whole world. I don't think that that was his goal. I know that he loves his family. I know some stuff about him. I've been trying to catch him for some time. I think that it has been about two years. Anyway, that doesn't matter anymore. It's too late anyway. The only thing that i'm focusing on right now is protecting this group. I don't want anymore people to die because off him. This has been going on for way too long!
