chapter 23

Ashley's pov.

I'm almost done with half the holes that need to be digged when i see beca walking towards. I thought that i told her to rest? Why doesn't she listen when someone tells her to rest? I wipe the sweat of my head and cross my arms. "I thought that i told you to rest? What are you doing out here?" i ask beca. Beca chuckles a little and shrugs. "Well, uuhm. I was just talking to flo and she told me that your mom used to be a wedding planner." beca says. I raise my eyebrow. "Yeah, she used to plan a wedding at least once a week. I sometimes even got to help her." i say. "So, did your mom ever planned gay weddings?" beca asks me. I smile a little and nod. "Those were the ones she liked the most to plan. She didn't care if it wasn't technicly a 'real' wedding. She was just glad that she could give them something. And after that gay people really could marry, was she really happy. A lot of her first customers came back to her to get married for real." i say. "So, how would they get married before it was legal? Like, what do you need for that?" beca asks me. "Nothing. I mean, you just plan the party and that's it. You could get someone to say some things about the both off you and then that person will say 'kiss the bride' or something like that. Why are you asking tho? Are you going to propose to chloe?" i ask her. Beca blushes and scratches the back off her head. "I'm planning on it." she says. My eyes widen."wait, are you serious? Are you really going to propose!?" i ask her. She smiles and nods. I give her a hug and smile. That's so awesome! "If chloe says yes, then i want you to plan our wedding. If you want that is." beca says. I smirk and nod. "I'm happy to do that for the both of you. And hey. I'm not mad at you for banning jessica. If you think that's something that needed to happen, then i support it." i say. Beca smiles and hugs me. "Thank you. It means a lot to me that you said that." beca says.

Stacie's pov.

"Maybe we should take a break? We have been walking for about six or seven hours." i say. I'm getting a bit tired because off all that walking. "Yeah, sure. A ten minute break should be enough, right?" chloe asks. I smile and nod. We sit down and drink a little and eat a bit. I look around and notice something strange. "Hey guys? Isn't it weird that we have been walking for about six or seven hours, but didn't see a single walker yet?" i ask them. They look around for a moment. "You're right. That is strange." emily says. Hailee shrugs. "It isn't that weird to be honest. When i was alone then i would sometimes find no walker in about three days. There just aren't that many of them in this forest." hailee says. "Well, it wasn't really a popular forest. Almost no one ever came to visit it." i say. Aubrey stands up and pushes my legs apart. She turns around and sits down between my legs with her back against my front. I smile and hug her. I really love her. I've had a crush on her for the past year. We called a lot in the summer and when i heard that she would come back for our performance, i was flipping. I wanted to tell her after that we won but then the whole beca and jesse thing happend so i decided to wait until we were back in barden. Only we never reached barden. This stupid apocalypse happend. How did this even happen? I think that jake and his biddies have something to do with this to be honest. I mean, they did say that they were expirementing on humans before the zombie apocalypse even started. And alison said that they could turn people into walkers without killing you. Isn't that enough proof. Well, i'm glad that he's dead. We don't have to worry about them anymore. We are safe.

Shadow's pov.

I take out my blade and jump from branch to branch while circeling around the group. I'm glad that they just think that it's because there weren't a lot off people here. We can't reveal ourself just yet. We need to wait until the big boss comes for them. I know that it's bad to use them ass bait, but we don't have a choice. They look like nice people tho. That's why we decided to help them in the first place. It's cute how the three couples of the group are gay. My sister was also a lesbian. Maybe i should try to find her after that i'm done with this. I really mis her. I hear someone climbing a tree and know who it is. I look down and notice that they didn't hear him climbing up. "Hey runner. How was silence?" i whisper to him. He looks at me and i can see him smirking through his green mask. "He's fine. You don't need to be so worried about him." he says. I roll my eyes and look down at the group. Runner is wearing his green uniform. He always has his green mask on witch covers almost his whole face except for his eyes. He also has his green cap on. Our outfits are pretty simular. Only that mine is black and silence his outfit is blue. Just like the handle off our sword. We each got to choose our outfit when we joined the assasin cult. I'm pretty happy about my choice. It suits my name. The girls get back up and i look at runner. "You go ahead and kill some infected around them. I'll keep an eye on them from above." i say. He nods and runs off.

Only they don't know about them.
