chloe's pov.
We finaly reached the town! We still have about four days left so we should hurry up and loot this town. I turn towards the group. "We need to stick together. We look out for eachother and we won't leave someone behind. Got it?" I ask them. They all nod. I sigh and look at the town. I see a few shops without any walkers near it. "We should check those shops out first." I say while pointing at them. We slowly walk towards the first shop and look inside it. It looks like no walker has touched it yet. "We need to open this lock. This pplace hasn't been raided yet so there should be good loot." I say. Stacie pulls out two knifes and breaks the lock open. "Beca teached me how to do that." She says with a shrug. We go inside the shop and start to loot it.
Beca's pov.
I was walking around the house when i noticed that there was a guitar in the corner off the livivng room. The wall is almost finished but we needed a few more trees until we could finish it. The girls told me to take a break so i have time to play the guitar for a little bit. I take it and sit down on the couch. It looks like it was for someone who is left handed. That's nice! Now i don't have to change the strings. What song should i play? Ohw, i know the perfect song! I place my fingers where they neeed to be and start the song.
"Once I was seven years old my momma told me
Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely
Once I was seven years old
It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger
Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker
By eleven smoking herb and drinking burning liquor
Never rich so we were out to make that steady figure
Once I was eleven years old my daddy told me
Go get yourself a wife or you'll be lonely
Once I was eleven years old
I always had that dream like my daddy before me
So I started writing songs, I started writing stories
Something about the glory, just always seemed to bore me
Cause only those I really love will ever really know me
Once I was 20 years old, my story got told
Before the morning sun, when life was lonely
Once I was 20 years old
I only see my goals, I don't believe in failure
Cause I know the smallest voices, they can make it major
I got my boys with me at least those in favor
And if we don't meet before I leave, I hope I'll see you later
Once I was 20 years old, my story got told
I was writing about everything, I saw before me
Once I was 20 years old
Soon we'll be 30 years old, our songs have been sold
We've traveled around the world and we're still rolling
Soon we'll be 30 years old
I'm still learning about life
My woman brought children for me
So I can sing them all my songs
And I can tell them stories
Most of my boys are with me
Some are still out seeking glory
And some I had to leave behind
My brother I'm still sorry
Soon I'll be 60 years old, my daddy got 61
Remember life and then your life becomes a better one
I made the man so happy when I wrote a letter once
I hope my children come and visit, once or twice a month
Soon I'll be 60 years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me
Soon I'll be 60 years old
Soon I'll be 60 years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me
Soon I'll be 60 years old
Once I was seven years old, my momma told me
Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely
Once I was seven years old "I finish the song and smile. I still have my skills. "I didn't know that you could play the guitar." CR Said. I smile and shrug. "I loved mixing more but i know how to play some instruments." I say. CR sits down next to me and i put the guitair away. "What other instruments do you play?" CR asks me. "Ohw, I can play the piano, violin and the electric guitar." I say. "Damn, that's impressive. I know that stacie her grandparents loved to play innstruments so i know that there are a lot off them around the house. There is a piano in the basement, and the violin and electric guitar are in the attic. There are some other instruments up there aswell. If you want to sneak away for a bit to go play then you can. I'll tell them not to bother them." CR says. I nod and smile at her. "It sounds like an amazing idea. I'll do that. I'm going to the basement to play the piano." I tell her. She nods and smiles. I go downstairs and see the piano standing there in a corner. I never paid much attention to it when I was down here. I sit down and run my fingers over the keys before i started playing.
"When mama said that it was O.K.
Mama said that it was quite alright.
Our kind of people had a bed for the night.
And it was O.K.
Mama told us we were good kids.
And daddy told us never listen to the ones.
Pointing nasty fingers and making fun.
'Cause we were are good kids.
Remember asking both my mom and dad.
Why we never travelled to exotic lands.
We only ever really visit friends.
Nothing to tell when the summer ends.
We never really went buying clothes.
Folks were passing on the stuff in plenty loads.
New shoes once a year and then.
Out to play ball so we could ruin them.
When mama said that it was O.K.
Mama said that it was quite alright.
Our kind of people had a bed for the night.
And it was O.K.
Mama told us we were good kids.
And daddy told us never listen to the ones.
Pointing nasty fingers and making fun.
'Cause we were are good kids.
Don't get me wrong I didn't have it bad.
I got enough lovin' from my mom and dad.
But I don't think they really understood.
When I said that I wanted to deal in Hollywood.
I told I might be singing on TV.
The other kids were calling me a wannabe.
The older kids they started bugging me.
But now they're all standing right in front of me.
I know which place I'm from.
I know my home.
When I'm in doubt and struggling thats where I'll go.
And old friend can give advice.
When new friends only know the half story.
That's why I always keep them tight.
And why I'm O.K.
I said I'm O.K.
You know what my mama said?
You know what she told me?
When mama said that it was O.K.
Mama said that it was quite alright.
Our kind of people had a bed for the night.
And it was O.K.
Mama told us we were good kids.
And daddy told us never listen to the ones.
Pointing nasty fingers and making fun.
'Cause we were are good kids.
Mama said that it was O.K.
Babada.
Babada baba
Babada baba
Babada baba
Mama said that it was O.K.
babada.
Babada baba
Babada baba
Babada baba
When mama said that it was O.K "I remeber when chloe and i sang that together. It was a good night.
